Meeting Barton

( 3rd person Pov, 3 weeks later)

꧁✰𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽𐬼𐬽✰꧂

Ever since they stayed in the cabin Liana and Natasha we're closer than ever. Liana still had nightmares that wouldn't go away soon, Nat knew that. But now that things in the world were slightly returning to normal. Natasha knew she would have to return to the Avengers soon. She worried for Liana, would she be acepted? She decided to call and talk with Clint, since he was probrably the only person she could trust aside from Liana.

She and Clint cought up, she told Barton about her realationship with Liana. And he was very happy Natasha had someone in her romantic life. And Natasha mentioned Liana's past from the Red Room and Hydra. Clint gave her the needed reasureance. Soon Clint told Natasha the news that He and his wife were expecting another kid. He invited Natasha and Liana to come visit. So after a long conversation, Natasha agreed to come visit with Liana. She knew that some human interaction would be good for Liana and help her adjust from Hydra easier.

And she knew Liana would love to meet Clint and his family. Plus they were out of Hotels to go to. So with that the couple made the journey to Barton's farm/home.

(Liana's Pov)

Natasha talked to me about meeting Clint and his family and said that she thinks it would be good for me. I was hesitant but agreed. And now we were sitting the car looking at a house. I just sat there and stared at the house, I don't know why but I was nervous. Maybe it was because I was used to only being with Tasha, or maybe it was because I wasn't able to predict how they would act. I had never met a child either.

It didn't matter, we were going to stay here for about two days. Then I would meet the Avengers. "Hey..." Natasha says taking my hand. I looked over to her . " You okay?" She asks. " Yea, just a bit nervous." I admit. She smiles " Don't worry, these are good people." She reasures. " Promise?" I ask looking in her eyes. " Promise." She says taking my hand and kissing it.

" C'mon, they're expecting us." She says geting out of thr car. I fallow outside of the car and we walk up to the door. She knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. A minute later the door started to open and behind it was a man with blue eyes, blond/brown hair, with a simple plade shirt and jeans. " Natasha." Clint smiled and opened the door all the way to welcome her.

They smiled and huged eachother before steping away. " Clint, this is Liana." Natasha says taking my hand, which encurages me to step closer. " Hey, I'm clint. It's nice to meet you." He said holding his hand out. I was a but confused at first but I cought up and held out my hand and we shook hands. Clint smiles after we let go. " Come on in." He says holding the door so we could walk in.

Walking in, the home looked like any other family home. With pictures and some toys here and there. " Where are the kids?" Natasha asks eagerly. " Oh they are playing up staires. " A women's voice says from the kitchen. I turn my head and saw a women who was maybe 5-6 months pregnant. Natasha smiles again and she hugs the woman. When they pull away Natasha turns her attention back to me and gestures me to come closer.

I walk closer and the women smiles. " Who's this?" She asks smileing. " I'm Liana." I say speaking for the first time. " Well it is very nice to meet you, I'm laura." She says smileing again. I managed to smile slightly, because I didn't want to be rude. But it was slight, I wasn't really used to this. " Are you two hungry? I was about to toss some burgers on the grill." Clint offers. " Yes." I say turning my head to him a little to quickly.

They laugh a little bit at my reaction. " Yeah, I could eat." Natasha answers still smileing. " Okay then, you mind helping?" Clint says to Natasha. " Not at all." She says. " Auntie Nat!" I turn and see two chilren at the stairs. A boy and a younger girl. I look back at Natasha and her face lit up. The girl ran over and natasha picked her up hugging her.

The boy hugs Natasha's side and she gives him a side hug. " Who's that?" The girl asks looking at me. " Oh, that is my girlfriend. " Natasha explains to the girl. " What's her name?" She asks again. " Well why don't you ask her?" Natasha suggests setting her down. The girl nodds and walks to me. After she stops infront of me and I kneel to her hieght.

" I'm Lila. That's my brother, Cooper." She says turning back to her older brother. Then she turns back to me. " What's your name?" She asks. " Liana..." I answer. I honestly had no Idea what to do, I've never actualy been in the same room as a kid in years. " Do you wanna play outside with me and Cooper?" She asks. I look to Natasha un-easy, but she just nodds in reasureance. " As long as your parents are okay with it." I guessed that was what I should say.

She quickly turns to Clint and Laura. " Mom, Dad, can we play outside with Liana? Please!" The girl asks pulling in Clint's hand. He laughs " Well, it is going to take a while for the Burgers to cook. So I'm okay with it. Laura?" He says then turns to his wife. " Just don't go to far." She says smileing. The kids smile and take my hand and lead me outside.

" Tag! You're it!" Lila cheers then her and Cooper run off. I smile a bit then it grew as I chased then through out the fields. We were running and laughing, I decided to let the kids win and every time Lila or Cooper was It I let them chase me down. At one point Lila tackled me laughing. I sat up and looked back to the house and see Clint at the grill, Laura sitting in a chair and Natasha looking at us smileing. I smile then continue to play with the kids.

( Natasha's Pov )

I watched Liana as she played with Lila and Cooper. I didn't expect her to be so good with the kids. " I'm going to make us something to drink. Tea or Lemonade?" She asks standing. " I think the kids would want Tea." Clint says. " I'll just have water." I say. Laura nodds then heads inside. " So how are things with you and Liana, now that you guys are together again. " Clint asks. I look from him to Liana. " I'm not sure... She's still the same person I know, but..." I trail off sighing.

" But what?" Clint asks. I look back to him. " I'm not sure. She's different, whatever Hydra did to her. It changed her." Clint nods in understanding. " She's getting better but, there's still things that she never wants to tell me. She has nightmares and I have to coax her to tell me about them, even then it's rare." I say in dismal. "You weren't much different after we met." Clint remarks. I lift my head looking at him. " Don't worry. It'll get better, it takes time." He reasures.

" What if it doesn't?" I ask glumly. " What if it does?" He counters. " Now, do you want one or two burggers?" Clint says trying to lighten the mood. I smile at this. " I'll stick with one, Thanks." Clint smirks knowing his trick worked.

Soon we were all eating, talking, and laughing till the sun set. After Liana and Laura put the kids to bed and me and clint did the dishes, Me and Liana went to the guest room and changed for bed. And when we laid down, she started telling me what she did with the kids. She told me about how they played tag, and chased eachother in the fields.

When she fell asleep I began to wonder if I should go back to Avengeing, or if I should introduce Liana to it. What if we just lived in a house somewhere? Like how clint's family lived. We could get married, maybe raise a kid. I mean, did I really have to go fight crime when the woman I love is right here in my arms? And if we did, would it be worth it?

I can't just stop fighting either, it's pretty much in my DNA. Might be the same for Liana. Is she even capable of chooseing that for herself? Maybe I could try making Liana and Avenger, see what happens... If it works out, it works out. If not, I will take her somewhere like this and we will live the life we always dreamed of. Yeah, that seemed fair.

I sigh. I lean over and kiss Liana on the head then lay down, close my eye and let sleep wash over me.

So close, so close to Age of Ultron. One more chapter then we start a new movie.

Also what do you think, I can't wait for you guys to read the next chapter. And I think it is obvious Liana has an interest in Burgers.
