(AN: Not really my views on Jason, just fun to write. Things will vary from the books)
I just don't get what's so high and mighty about that Percy dude. He's just a lousy son of Poseidon. Sure he's one of the Big Three, but I'M a son of JUPITER, the KING of the gods. The Romans respect him, yeah, but Percy's probably not being very welcomed since they don't exactly LOVE Neptune. He probably just took credit for all those 'good deeds' everyone's always talking about. He's probably an attention-seeking, arrogant jerk. Maybe he went on a few quests, I did too! No one at camp respects me as much as him, even though he isn't here. They let me do some things but usually look at Annabeth before agreeing. Everyone's crying over him, I mean seriously? Ugh.
I wanted to ask Thalia about him since the Hunters were staying for a few weeks, and I knew she was level-headed, so I headed towards the Zeus cabin where I knew Thalia was unpacking her few things. What I most DEFINITELY did NOT expect was Annabeth and Thalia crying and hugging when I opened the door. Talk about awkward!
"H-hey Thals? You okay?" My sister turned her head to look at me with a watery glare. "Don't. Call. Me. Thals." She said dangerously. Annabeth whispered something into her ear and her eyes softened. "Sorry Jason, just worried about Percy," she apologized. Ugh! There was that name again! Seriously, what is the big deal about Percy Jackson?
After Thalia and Annabeth telling me the EXACT SAME THING AS THE OTHER CAMPERS, I had to go train to let off some steam. When I got to the arena I saw Clarisse chopping off some dummy heads. I remember the first time we sparred she beat me so bad but I've been training for the past few weeks, and I think I might (AN: keyword, MIGHT) be able to beat her. Percy probably can't even beat her. I'm probably so much better than him! (AN: It's cute you think that)
"Hey, Clarisse!" I walked towards her while she was taking a water break. "Can we spar?" "Sure, I guess," she replied gruffly, though I could see that she wasn't really listening, and had some worry in her eyes. Was SHE worried about Jackson too? Nah, probably scared I'll beat her. I flipped my coin and she grabbed her sword and we started sparring. She had me disarmed and her blade at my throat in 10 minutes (AN: Again, no idea how this works). "Nice job Clarisse," I congratulated her, since I'm not a sore loser (AN: You sure about that?), and asked, " Can you beat Percy? Nevermind, silly question, I'm SURE you can, I'm probably so much better than him-" "You are most DEFINITELY not as good as Prissy. He can beat me in a minute flat, with both swords at my throat. Do NOT disrespect him," she growled. Wait, WHAT?! He can do that? Even I can't beat her? HE CAN? Hmph, I just HATE Percy Jackson.
Time Skip
As the Argo 2 approached Camp Jupiter, I got ready for cheers of joy and shouts of praise and welcome as New Rome saw their praetor. What I didn't expect was many people saying, "Hello Jason Grace, our former praetor," and, "You come with Greeks?" Former praetor? I would still be a praetor unless someone took it from me... OH, MY GODS? Why is Neptune standing next to Reyna in a praetor toga? I asked the same to Thalia, who'd insisted on coming. She just laughed. "That, my dear brother, is Percy Jackson." She said proudly. Oh, COME ON! I thought Percy was Neptune! "I mean, he isn't far off, he was offered to be one once, ya know," Clarisse butted in. She had ALSO insisted on coming. Also, back-up, HE'S BEEN OFFERED TO BE A GOD? Gods, Percy Jackson just HAS to one-up me once again.
Once we'd gotten introduced, Percy was annoyingly extraordinarily nice and seemed to get along with everyone. He pulled me aside to talk, and I found out that he was extremely humble and kind. Maybe I was wrong about Perseus Jackson.
Sorry for the bad ending! I hope you liked the rest of it!
