Slow Friendship

"I'll meet you at the Inn later today right??" I question, which he responds with a small nod.

About time I'm back here at the Inn. "Hi Mrs . Goldet! How are you?" I ask the boss lady. "Im doing great, no need for The formalities!" She greets me back. I wave and go back to my room, that was a long journey. I think to myself, did Xiao really mean that when he said he'd consider it?

"I guess we'll just have to see then." I take a breath getting ready for a rest. "It's been a long day."

Not even a second later, you jear a loud bang. It sounded like something fell or was broken somehow. I suppose I should check. As I peaked out my room door, I see Xiao with Childe and Zhongli? "what are they doing here this late" I wisphered trying not to be heard.

Aiya..of course, Xiao heard me and I do a samll wave. In the corner of my eye I see..um chopsticks..in the wall. "Um what's this all about" I said pointing at the pair of utensils. "Ah hello, y/n." Zhongli says, "Xiao over here threw them at childe." he sighs as he tries to pull them out.

"We were just chatting for awhile, care to join us?" Zhongli said ignoring the uncomfortable staring and glares the other two gave behind him. "Sure!" I reply and sit. "Hm? Oh! Y/N welcome! How are you?" Childe asks me with a cheery tone. "I'm doing alright, how about you?"

"I'm doing great!" he says glaring at Xiao

Xiao looked like he was about to slice him in half..yikes. "So.." I start off trying to break the silence. "How were your da-" "Horrible." Xiao coldly cuts me off. "Oh um I see, do you guys want anything to eat?"

"A cup tea please," Zhongli answered. I nodded and went to go prepare the tea.

3rd Person

Zhongli turns to Xiao and Childe, "I'm sure you two know you shouldn't make such noise on this very fine night?" Childe looks at him and frowns, "But he was the one who threw it at me!!" pointing at Xiao. Xiao huffs and crosses his arms.

At this point it's just complete silence until y/n is back. "I'm here with your tea!" She says. Zhongli thanks here and says they should get going since it's pretty dark outside.

"Alright then! Good night, I'll see you guys soon."
