I drift off to a slumber.
One day..I shall dance around in a field full of flowers

"Xiao!!" I hear a voice call out. "I made you food!!" I slowly open my eyes to see Y/N with another plate of almond tofu and the soup from yesterday.

This stuff is delicious, what does Y/N put in it? I look at the time..It's almost 8 in the morning. "How long have you been awake?" I ask

"Like an hour or two ago perhaps" They respond taking a sip of nicely heated soup.

flashback to 2 hrs ago
(Y/N POV)

I wake up feeling well rested. Sitting up from the cloth on the ground, I look over to my right. Xiao was there, he simply looked more relaxed then when he was awake. Certainly he must have a good dream? This is a rare view.

I fight the urge to snap a quick photo with my Kamera I got from a seller in Liyue. hehe

"I guess it's time to start making breakfast. Almond tofu takes quite a bit of time to cook."

Current time

"Xiao !!! let's go to Mt. Azong(?) to meet cloud retainer" Y/N exclaimed. "I don't feel like it. I do not wish to see the other adepti right now." Xiao says grumply.

"But you're with me right now" Y/N smirks.

"That's because you basically bribed me to go..I couldn't resist some good tofu" Xiao was practically unable to hear on that last part. "So..Are we friends now?" Y/N questions. Xiao crossed his arms, "..Sure I guess." apon hearing that, he receives excitement as a reaction.

Both of them are walking around the mountain side avoiding as much mobs as possible. They were going on a nice walk together. Y/N was looking around for some nice qingxin(?) flowers as they went along the sides.

"Hey Xiao." Y/N smirked at the sudden thought they had just now. "What if we fell down the cliff.. would that not be fun a bit? Since we're Adepti, you can like 'fly'?"

"That's not something to joke about. I do not fly." Xiao responded with a ticked off look. "Either way you wouldn't fall off. I'm literally right here."

Y/N laughs and continues their walk. Theres some rocky areas that look like there would be some rare gems nearby. "We should go dig through those rocks, I have a feeling something is in there!" They exclaim while running toward it.

"woahhh..Xiao!! Look what I found!" Y/N holds up some Smaragdus Nepherite. "I think it's one of those stones. It looks like some kind of jade..What do you think Xiao"

Xiao looks over at her hand and gives it a few touches and looks. "By the looks of it, it should be either Smaragdus Nephereite or Jadeite." He hands the gems back over to Y/N. Y/N seems way too excited.

As soon as Y/N stands up and starts running to the other parts of the mountain, they trip. The world is falling. Everything is moving quickly. To Y/N, they're falling slowly. Seeing this, Xiao acts quickly as he swoops Y/N before they hit the ground.

"ouch.." Y/N looks at Xiao and just stares at him. "Stop staring. You almost fell down a mountain to your death." Xiao says sternly with the same voice Y/N heard when they first met him. "Like I said you shouldn't have joked about that earlier."

Y/N chuckles softly, "Sorry, I guess. Did I at least make you worry a bit..? haha" Xiao didn't want to admit it but he was just a little bit worried. Y/N just kept him company and most importantly, they weren't a mortal.

"No. You can get off my arms now, before I drop you." Xiao was threatening them. It was more of a cover because he didn't know what to do in this situation.

"Fine fine.." Y/N got off him and stated, "To be honest..you were warmer than I thought." Xiao raised an eyebrow, "What is that supposed to mean.?" Y/N just ignores his question and asks if he wanted to go back to the Inn.

Y/N groans, "Ughh we're finally back at the Inn. I don't have to sleep on grass anymoree!!" Y/N turns over to see Xiao having disappeared. "I guess he's going to be busy fighting off demons." Y/N thought, "Considering he's been with me for like 2 days. How did I even manage that?"

As Y/N climbed the stairs all they could think of was laying down on their bed and taking a nice nap. "Hello Verr! Good Afternoon." Y/N greeted as they passed the main building. "Good afternoon to you too, Y/N." Verr smiles warmly.

As Y/N finally goes into their room, they flop over on the bed thinking of nothing but the thought of Xiao being worried for them, Seeing this made Y/N feel powerful for some reason.

"You're thinking weird stuff about me. Are you not?"

"Ah! where'd that come from!?"
