Qingyun Peak

Ah shit.. there's a large hilicural camp in their way.

Not even a minute lated Xiao just begins to slaughter them all. Within 2 minutes Y/N is standing there behind a pile of dead bodies.

"I um." They stand there awkwardly, "how the hell did you even do that so quickly"

Hmph "Nothing but a few thousand years of practice" Xiao responds. He proceeds to get an astonished look from Y/N. "How come I can't do that?!? I'm an adeptus too!!"

Xiao just responded with a quick chuckle. "You haven't practiced the way I did, I'm pretty sure." He said facing the other way, "Let's keep going, it's going to get dark soon."

Y/N caught up to him and clinged on to his arm, "Hm? Is something wrong?" Y/N askes. Xiao basically froze in place. "Um. please don't do that." He flinches at the slightest touch, weirdo. Is what Y/N would've said. "sorry"

They keep walking for about another 30 minutes, Y/N's legs are getting tired. "Xiaoo can we take a break? Im getting tired, we've been walking for almost 4 hourss" They whined.

"No, you're the one who wanted to go on this trip plus, we'll get there by midnight if we don't hurry." He looked at Y/N who basically is half asleep. "You're already sleeping aren't you."

He sighs then says "We're going there faster. You can sleep there, not here." Picking Y/N up and swiftly dashes(?) to Qingyun Peak. Xiao looks at Y/N, not suprisingly, they're fast asleep in his arms.

I guess we could take a rest under the mountain. He thought as he drifted away to a small nap. About maybe like an hour later, it's already 5pm. Xiao's wide awake, staring at the adeptus that's sleeping..on him. "This is actually  just a horrible day." He mumbled trying to get them off him while not waking them up.

Xiao POV

Jeez..their head is quite heavy. I don't want to wake them up but it's hard to considering that they're on me.

Whatever..I suppose I should rest a bit more. There aren't any demons in this area, I believe.

1st person

I woke up to see Xiao next to me almost falling. I'm on his shoulder..wait what? I was panicking on the inside while Xiao opened his eyes, "what?" He groans and sits up. "Um- sorry..it's nothing." I just laugh a bit, haha.

"Hmm I suppose I should cook something", I see a fire place with a few hilicurals and take out my bow.

Hmm nothing more than a few hilicurals, I smirk while taking out ingredients for almond tofu and some caca lily soup. Xiao walked over to me and sit down beside me, "What are you cooking?" He does a little point at the pot.

"Some soup!" I give him a smile, "and almond tofu." His eyes lit up almost immediately after hearing that. It's quite funny to be honest.
