"Ahaha... I might have underestimated you, Aether."

Aether grunts, "You're not getting away with this Childe." "Yeah we didn't take the gnosis!! I swear!!" Paimon wailed. Apparently during the time Y/N and Xiao were away, the traveler got in a fight with Childe. He was searching the Golden House for Rex Lapis' gnosis, for the Tsarista.

As the both of them fought, Aether learnt to withstand both anemo and geo, leading Childe to go into his foul legacy transformation. "A worthy opponent, how amusing. There's no turning back now." Childe grabbed his weapon and hopped toward Aether.

Aether dodges the slashes childe threw, and attacked back before stepping away. Everything eventually came crashing down, the floor, everything. As Aether fell, he was cushioned by the stacks of mora. "What.. " he looked around. "Paimon..? Childe? Xiao..Y/N..Anyone?" He yelled, only to hear an echo. The only things seen were piles of mora and a statue. Aether walks up to the statue, only to find it has gotten further away.

Confused, he looked behind him. In shock he mumbles "..Lumine? Is that... really you?" The room was dead silent, Going toward his sister, he tried to reach out. She was gone.  Walking away from him, leaving him, again. "No.. Stay.. please" Aether cried out to hear no other answer. Pitch darkness settled in, "St-stay longer.."

"AETHER! WAKE UP!! DON'T DIE!!"

Opening his eyes, Aether saw Paimon, and a battle between Xiao and Y/N when he looked up. As he was trying to move, he stopped when he felt a dizzy feeling. "What's going on??" Aether tried to speak, "Oh dear.. you seem to have lost your voice, Paimon was calling for Xiao when you fell!!! You didn't wake up and Childe was going to kill you!!!!" Paimon was clearly filled with worry, never wanting her traveling partner to be killed, of course.

Aether looked around, the floor above was in shambles. Having been injured, he couldn't fight currently. "Surrender." Xiao was pointing his spear directly at Childe, who was panting and beaten up. "I never would've thought that'd take that big of a toll on my body," he said "Thus saying..ahahaha" Childe laughed. "Thus I've already did my part!!" Seals of permission surround him. "You better get out here if you don't want to drown~.."

The room was shaking, "Quick, grab onto me." Xiao extends a hand. On the other hand, Paimon had grabbed on Y/N. Back on the jade chamber, the four of them and the others watched in horror as the aincent god, osial was awaken. "I have, an idea." Ningguang started to prepare ballistas. The Adepti knew immediately what to do, stepping on the platforms. "Fatui!" Paimon gasped. Keqing and Xiao got ready to fight, taking out their weapons. Traveler soon joining them.

"I'm familiar with Osial's attacks, do not get hit." Xiao said while plunging on some Fatui. Everything was a mess. Osial attacked the platform with an explosion of water. Cracking and then soon breaking. "Y/N! Get the traveler here quickly!" Xiao yelled. "got it!" Y/N nodded and picked up Aether.

"Be careful, okay?" Y/N said to Aether while putting him down. Ningguang was mortified, "The Jade chamber is our last defense before the city!" Ganyu exclaimed. "Perhaps..I have another idea. I will sacrifice the Jade Chamber." Ningguang was making a hard decision here. "But Lady Ningguang the J-" Ganyu was interrupted by a slash of water. Aether and the others put force on the chamber, making it weigh down and cause an explosion.

"Liyue is safe, for now." Y/N stated, " Not quite. We have someone responsible for this and they're still roaming around within the harbor." Xiao sounded irritated. "Tartagilia."
