Chapter 8: Preparing For The Trip

Heather's Pov

December 16th- Winter Break Day 1, 6AM

When I woke up in the. morning, I was the only one in Anabella's full size bed. That was odd, Ana wasn't usually an early riser. I got up and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, I kept an extra toothbrush at Anabella's house and extra clothes since I spent the night a lot here. I put toothpaste on my brush and turned on the water to wet it, before sticking it in my mouth and starting to brush my teeth. I cleaned my teeth good, I wanted them sparkling. When I finished I spit out the paste and washed my mouth out with mouth wash and cleaned my brush putting it in the cup.

I washed my face with face wash and patted it dry with a towel, before I went to change clothes. I was brushing my long hair, when Anabella quietly entered the bedroom.

"Where were you?" I asked turning to look at her.

"Sorry. Joey spent the night last night," she said softly," I just helped him sneak out before my Dad and Mom get up."

My mouth fell open," Did you have sex with Joey?" I demanded.

"What? No! No! We just slept next to each other in the guest room," Ana said quickly, her cheeks turning red.

"Girl one of these days you will have sex with that boy. I just know it," I said as I finished brushing my hair.

"I'm going to brush my teeth and get ready. We can go to the school around 10am so I can drop off the permission slip and check," she said.

"Sure. After that we can go to my house and I'll lend you the stuff for the ski trip. This is going to be soo good!' I said excitedly.

Ana disappeared into the bathroom to get ready for the day and I put my brush away once my hair was silky smooth. I put some deodorant on and put my brush back in my backpack.

Joey's Pov

I had managed to sneak back into my house and room without waking up Tommy or my Mom. Tommy and I lived with our mother, Katherine. Our sister Kate lived with our Dad, Thomas and our other sisters had moved out of the house. I was the youngest of the brood. I went into the bathroom and stripped to shower, I was glad I had gotten to stay the night at Ana's. I really was falling for my best friend and couldn't seem to stop myself. I didn't want to stop myself either.

I showered, brushed my teeth and changed clothes. I was just finishing my hair when Tommy woke up to take over our bathroom. I could hear Mom moving around in the kitchen, she would be going to work today so it would just be me and Tommy home. I went downstairs to the kitchen and found Mom making breakfast before she had to leave.

"Morning Mom," I said and went to the fridge pulling out the Orange Juice Carton and grabbing a glass, pouring myself some juice.

"Good morning Joseph. What are your plans today?" Mom asked me.

"I'm probably going to hang out with Anabella later," I said as I picked up my glass of juice. Mom fixed me a plate of eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits and grits, she put the plate on the table.

"Okay that's fine. Is Tommy up yet?" She asked.

"Yeah. He was getting ready when I came down," I said going to the table and sitting down to eat breakfast.

Anabella's Pov

December 16th- Winter Break, 9:30AM

Heather and I were sitting at the breakfast table, my parents had gone to work this morning. So we had made our own breakfast, Pancakes, Turkey Sausage, Eggs and Biscuits.
