15 - Past Always Stay

Yeona and Kiyeon sat down in the kitchen, having some cereal for breakfast. Taewon joined them with Chaeyeong who was reading mail that came in.

"Are you two going to school today?" Taewon asked, glancing over at the siblings who were extremely tired. Kiyeon looked up and smiled softly at Yeona, who was debating even to leave the house.

"We will go, we missed so much of school already, we need to go anyway," Yeona nodded to his words. Chaeyeong gave each of them a small bottle of medicine, making them look up.

"If you feel light headed during school, drink this, I will be taking care of Seola so don't worry about her," She smiled sweetly at her children, who gratefully accepted and slipped it into their bags.

The pair of them exited through the back to avoid any stares from the pathetic parents. Taewon dropped them to school as he has a meeting with the Chairman of Cheongah foundation. Yeona and Kiyeon gripped their school bags tightly and entered the corrupt school.

"Yah," Seokkyung walked with her arms crossed with Eunbyul on the side. All the worry Yeona was feeling vanished. She was not going to be trampled on, especially with kids like them. Kiyeon walked by, not even bothered by their comments.

"How about we focus on our own life, I focus on mine, and you focus on yours, sounds like a plan, great," Yeona pushed passed Seokkyung, earning a disgusted look from her. Seokhoon watched as the girl he once was close to walk away without turning back.

Before class even started, a chaos overturned the school. Bae Rona was holding a mop, pointing at the students. Jenny, Minhyuk and Eunbyul crossed their arms at her but their eyes said different.

"What did I do to deserve this? You are all bullies," Rona spoke directly to the Hera kids. Yeona walked along with Kiyeon standing in the audience. Her eyes averted to Rona and clapped slowly. Seokkyung watched the girl navigate to stand next to Rona and turn to the group of students of Cheongah.

"What a show we have going on here, most of you are failing, but why are you guys so interested in this? How do you have the time to harass this kid? You want a show?" Yeona grabbed the mopped and smashed the glass cage that watched over Cheongah. A man with a blue jacket walked over smugly.

"What do we have here? Kids bullying," The teacher turned to the two girls, Kiyeon making his way to his sister. He pivoted around to eye the bystanders in this mess.

"I am your new PE teacher, everyone will run ten laps as your punishment, ah my name is teacher Gu," The kids whined at the punishment and walked away. Yeona smirked at the sight of the twins look distraught, making eye contact with Seokhoon. They both stared at each other before she got interrupted by Rona.

"Thank you so much, Jung Yeona," Kiyeon patted the girls back while his phone rung. He stepped aside smiling at his sister before letting the pair walk to their lesson. Walking along the corridor, they entered the bathroom so they could freshen up as their uniform got messed up.

Yeona's eyes were not bright anymore, they were dark and hateful. She kept protecting people who will most likely get hurt in the future and the moment someone protected her, it will went downhill and she lost everything.

Darn you Ju Seokhoon.

Rona finished getting ready and was prepared to enter the classroom again. Yeona told her to go ahead of her as she still had things to figure out. The girl shut the door lightly and smiled as she walked to class, bumping into Kiyeon on the way.

"Have you seen Yeona?" Kiyeon asked, impatiently.

"She was in the bathroom with me," Rona pointed at the girl bathroom as he ran and opened the door.

All he witnessed was a girl silently crying on the floor, squatting down, pushing her palms to her ears. Without hesitation, he hugged her back and let tears fall trying to comfort her by his words.

"Please don't cry, continue to be strong," Yeona calmed down slightly and applied more makeup to cover up her redness from crying. Kiyeon found himself waiting for her to finished before leaving the girls bathroom.

"Why were you even in the girls bathroom, are you a creep?" Yeona tried to joke to make herself feel better. Kiyeon smiled before opening the door to let themselves out. Everyone was in their class.

"I saw Ju Seokhoon so I thought you would be hiding," The siblings walked to their first class in a while.

"Bae Rona, Jung Kiyeon, Jung Yeona," Cheon Seojin spoke to the three, calling them out. The Trio had to sing a piece of their choice to introduce themselves again. It was sort of a slap in the face metaphorically. They finished and sat down. Seokkyung looked at her brother whose eyes could not leave Yeona's hair. How have they become like this.

After class, Yeona was walking by herself, carrying books on one hand and phone in the other. Out of nowhere, she was pushed aside into an empty classroom, her throat being threatened.

"What's with you and Seokhoon oppa?" Eunbyul spat in her face, her eyes sending daggers through her skin.

"Yah, out of everyone you should know our history," Yeona said trying to gain control of the situation but failed.

"You can't fool me, why does he keep looking at you and not me? What's so special about you?" Eunbyul raised her voice, tightening her grip on Yeona's throat. She saw a male figure approached the door through the translucent window. Reaching her hand out, Yeona slapped herself in the face and went on her knees.

"I am sorry Eunbyul ah, I won't do it again," The boy pulled Yeona up, stabilising her in his arms.

"Ha Eunbyul, are you crazy!" Seokhoon shouted at the confused, pathetic girl.

"Seokhoon I swear I didn't do anything-" She was cut off by him walking slowly out of the door. Yeona turned around enough for her eyes to meet Eunbyul and smirk.

Nothing will stop her. Nothing will stop anyone.

Good or evil. It can't be stopped

Especially when it is uncontrollable. Sometimes people need to become bad for everyone to become good.

If there was no evil, there will be no good.

No one can be both.
