21 - Revealing The Truth Takes Time II

"Jung Kiyeon!" A female voice called out.

He had no energy to even look up at the woman calling his name. How was he going to get saved when the fire in unstoppable? The phone that was only steps away, burned, releasing electricity shards across the empty car lot. The burning sensation, the electricity shock, the numbness of his hands, none of it affected him. He opened his eyes and saw a woman, a man and a boy near his age. His eyesight was blurring more every second and the smoke was unbearable. 

"Ahjumma," Kiyeon called out weakly, even himself not hearing his tiny voice.

"Please hold on Kiyeon ah!" A young male voice shouted across the blazing fire, water getting splashed everywhere. Sprinklers started to reactive and shoot out water onto the fire, making them get extinguished. He didn't even flinch when the water poured on him. 

Yunhee ran to his side wrapping her arms around the fragile boy, tears running down her cheeks.

"Jung Kiyeon! Don't you know how worried your mother is right now, why did this happen!" Seokhoon dialled Yeona and Rona, ensuring them that he is safe and for now to carry on with their plan, there was no time to waste. Especially now. Kiyeon shot his eyes wide open, grabbing Yunhee's cardigan roughly, crying hysterically. 

"Seola! Please tell me she is okay, Yeona, did he do something to her? Rona she was with Yeona right, everyone is safe, please tell me everyone is safe!" His legs dropped down, just like the time he nearly gave up on everything. Yunhee brought him into her arms, not allowing him to hear her sobs.

"Everyone is alright and safe, please calm down," Yunhee patted his head and turned to the man stood beside Seokhoon shocked. "Logan please take him to the hospital, I will be coming shortly, and Ju Seokhoon get away from here, I don't want you to stay here any longer," Logan looked at the boy and placed his hand onto his shoulder to help him stand, but he flinched away the moment his hand reached. Yunhee let out another sob covering her mouth. 

"Oh my God..." Seokhoon ran down the hall, calling the ambulance as soon as possible. 

The strong, young boy that was fearless, now has memories that will traumatise him forever, even touch could hurt him.

Yeona calmed down after learning that Kiyeon was safe and on his way to the hospital. Rona and her were in an empty classroom, where the students hardly used it. 

"He's fine, he'll be in a hospital very soon," She turned to Rona who sighed in relief. Seokhoon told her that they need to stick to whatever plan and that Yunhee will be taking care of Kiyeon, alongside his mother. They need to get any information they can, even if it is small. 

Starting with Ha Yuncheol. 

After the remaining time at school, Yeona and Rona met with Yuncheol at the gates explaining at Eunbyul had to stay in for extra tutoring at school. 

"Sir, can I ask how you know my mother?" Yeona asked politely, giving a fake smile. Yuncheol coughed up his saliva and turned to the small girl in front of him. 

"You know - we are both doctors so - you know - we met at work," He concluded. It was clear that he was lying to the girls. Yeona scoffed and erased her smile. 

"Tell me the truth Ha Yuncheol, and before you say anything, no one at the Hera Palace deserve my respect," Yeona walked slowly towards him crossing her arms across her chest. "Tell me the truth," He gulped down and glanced everywhere, apart from Yeona.

"I helped her create CY Bio Organisation, we were co heads, I decided to leave since I didn't want to be abroad anymore and I am now working with Ju Dantae with investments," Yeon hoped this was not the end of the story.

"Obviously he made me do things I do not want to talk about, we planned ahead of time and I already promised her that if anything goes wrong to her children I will be the one treating them," Yuncheol sighed in relief after he told them his story. He glanced over at Rona who was looking at the older man. So he is working with Ju Dantae but is also protecting his enemies children.

"Why are you not treating my brother then? He just got into another accident, they won't tell me why or what happened but if he needs to go to the hospital I am sure he is in danger," She raised her eyebrows at him and waited for his response. 

"They only call me if its a near death situation, this time it clearly isn't, so stop digging everything and focus on your own problem you two, don't get into trouble," He walked away seeing Eunbyul exiting the doors of Cheongah, looking obviously stressed. Yeona sighed and decided to call her mother. No answer. Rona called her mother. No answer. They both started running.

"Oh Yunhee, Sim Suryeon," A doctor entered the room, other nurses pulling a bed with Kiyeon laying on it, unconscious. Yunhee walked up to the doctor and waited for the results. 

"The burns due to the fire and the bruises got treated rapidly, there will be only a long lasting bruise on his wrist but it shouldn't cause pain, so no physical damage done, however," Suryeon stood up her phone clutching her palm. 

"He seems to have mental trauma from the accident, at first I thought it might be trauma caused by being in the fire but he should've developed it the first time round," Suryeon stepped forwards, ready to call Chaeyeong and Taewon.

"Haphephobia, the fear of being touched, with it any human touch can be overpowering and even be painful," The doctor sighed at his notes. "Usually its specifically to one gender but for him I think it is everyone, for now I recommend for him to wear gloves, the moment he feels someones touch, he can get massive pain in his body, he needs to heal before anything," Suryeon called Chaeyeong immediately tears falling on her face. All of this because of Ju Dantae. 

Yeona and Rona arrived at the hospital rushing into Kiyeon's recovery room. She wanted to wrap her arms around him but was stopped by Yunhee.

"Don't - touch him," Yunhee closed her eyes and sighed. Yeona looked at her stepping back onto the walls.

"Eomma," Rona called out, tears falling out. She didn't know the boy well but he was her best friends brother, how can she not care for him?

"Whats wrong with him?" Yeona called out quietly, whimpering from behind. Suryeon looked at Yunhee and nodded in approval. 

"He is haphephobic, fear of being touched, I am so sorry," Chaeyeong and Taewon rushed into the room, their eyes bloodshot and quivering lips. They heard everything from Suryeon the moment before. She can't hug her child. He can't hug his nephew. 

Everything was going to hell. 

The room was filled with tears and sobs. If someone took a bucket of the tears everyone poured out, it would've filled a massive swimming pool. 

Yeona wanted to deny everything. Ju Dantae did all of this just out of petty? It can't be real. First her father, now her brother. One by one he was taking down the family. 

He was going to get murdered, just like Jung Taekwon, Yeona and Kiyeon's father. 

-Well... there goes that. Revealing The Truth Takes Time will have three parts so I am aiming to get the third part published tomorrow so then Part 3 of this story can begin! I hope you enjoy this story and beware that people that have Haphephobia are not someone who is just afraid of being touched. I wanted to include this since my brother also has this and I want people to be more aware of it. In Kiyeon's case, it was caused due to Ju Dantae and the trauma while some just develop it for multiple reasons. It is not like they don't want to be touched, its because if they do, it will cause them physical pain. I just wanted to clear this up. Other than that, I really hope you enjoy this!! Have a good day-
