4 - I Promise You

If anyone finds out that Jung Yeona is protecting a child who faked her education and age to get money from the richest people in the country, they will both be dead. 

Min Seola locked eyes with Yeona who was standing somewhat shocked but not surprised as her suspicious became true. Yeona knew that the moment the Hera Palace finds out, it won't be pretty. 

"I knew it," Yeona voiced not break eye contact with the lonely girl across her. Seola thought that  this was the end and she will not see light. Yeona sighed and walked to stand by her.

"Which way were you going, straight?" Yeona grabbed the heavy bag Seola was carrying and started to walk ahead.

"You had to take a left," Seola said pointing the direction. Yeona thanked and walked the correct way trying to hide her embarrassment for going the wrong way. Seola didn't know how to take in this situation as she thought Yeona would be mad. They walked in silence for a while before Seola broke it.

"Why are you bringing me home, are you not mad?" Yeona stopped and looked at her. She felt pitied her and knew that there must have been a reason she lied. 

"I'm not mad and even if I was, I wouldn't do anything to you anyway, I would've just let everyone else deal with you," Yeona tried to joke but it didn't sound comforting what so ever. Yeona sighed taking a seat on the side walk placing the bag gently next to her. 

"I'm not going to be mean to you just because I feel like, if you did something that deserved it, thats different but you didn't do anything wrong so I don't really care," Seola sat down smiling at the words Yeona said. She thought that Yeona would be like the rest of them, bullying her and so on. 

"So are we the same age? I mean if you auditioned I guess we are," Yeona spoke smiling at the girl next to her. 

"Yes I'm hoping to major in vocal music," Seola nodded and explained. 

Yeona got a phone call and saw that it was from her brother.

"Oh Kiyeon ah," Yeona said over the line.

"Where are you?" Kiyeon said calmly over the phone while everyone else was leaving with their parents.

"Leave without me I'll be home soon and then explain everything later, I'm hanging up," Yeona said quickly before turning to Seola smiling cheekily.

"I almost forgot about my brother, I bet he will be excited to learn that you are my age," Seola was confused on what she meant but instantly felt her stomach drop thinking that he will be furious to learn about her lying. Yeona quickly waved her hands in front, denying what she was thinking.

"No No! Kiyeon would be very happy to know you are younger, I think he has a little crush on you, Seola," Yeona nudged her shoulder and she was shocked.

"Jung Kiyeon likes me?" Seola pointed to herself shocked at the information.

"I know my brother best, I am 100% sure of it," Seola looked skeptical at the situation and turned away from Yeona.

"I know me and my brother are both in the Hera Palace and I know how they treated you was terrible, especially the whole stealing the key ring thing," Yeona sighed thinking about it.

Ju Seokkyung planted the key ring into Seola's bag to frame her for stealing when she was completely innocent and then proceeded to throw her in the pool. Thats when Yeona was sure that Kiyeon liked her. When Seola was nearly drowning, Kiyeon saw her struggling and immediately went to save her. At that time he was wearing all black and a hat since he had to get some picture of Cheon Seojin or anyone suspicious but that plan failed because of her. After he rescued her, he ran away so she would never know who did it.
