Security Breach

"Yo Yusei." Came the voice of Noah, as he slowly guided his runner down the stairs and into the tunnels. "Noah!" Came the childish voice of Rally, who darted out the darkness and gave his friend a hug. "Hey Rally, I take it Yusei's testing then?" The boy nodded in the affirmative, before darting off again. Meanwhile Noah set his runner up to be tinkered with, as Rally came bursting out again with the item he was after. "Here! Yusei said to give you this if you were back before him." Noah took the part from Rally, and began carefully examining it, before moving himself under his runner, and removing the old part, to put the new one in. Just as he did that, Yusei pulled up from his testing session and saw Noah working on his runner already.

"I'm amazed you built that thing from scratch." Noah moved his head out from under his runner, before sliding himself out and jumping up to his feet. "What can I say, I had a hell of a teacher." The two bumped fists, before embracing in a hug. "Here." Noah pulled himself away, and handed Yusei the card. "A kid gave it to me, after I beat some bullies with me deck. Said I would know how to use it, but it's better fitted in your deck." As the two old friends continued their conversation, Sector Security shone their light down on them both. "Yusei Fudo, and Noah Frost! You're both in violation of rule 7, section 5! No satellite trash, is to have a duel runner!" Of course it would be that idiot Trudge, he'd been a thorn in their side since they were kids. "Rally hide. Me and Noah will deal with Trudge." The two then got on their runners, and started them up. "Yusei, I'm going for the pipeline tonight. It'll keep Trudge off your back, and buy you some more time to get ready."

Yusei was about to protest, but knew better than to change his friends mine. "Alright be careful." With a simple nod of his head, Noah and Yusei set off. While Yusei went one way, Noah headed the other. Making it plain as day what he was up to, and forcing Sector Security to change their plans on the fly. "Damnit! Trudge forget about that one, the other one is heading for the pipeline!" Came the radio call, which caused Trudge to grunt in anger, and quickly about turn and head off after Noah. By this point, the boy was in the pipeline and following it up. But Trudge had managed to catch up to him, to the point he manage to initiate a Turbo Duel. "I forgot how tenacious you were Trudge! By the way, how's the face?" With a cocky grin on his face, Noah placed his turbo duel deck in his runner, and readied himself for a duel. "Fine no thanks to you, but don't worry. I'll make yours look just like mine!"

That got a chuckle from Noah, as he drew his 5 cards, and then 1 to start his turn. "Who'd want to look like you? Anyway, I set two cards face down. Then I summon, Revealer of the Ice Barrier in attack mode! Then I use her ability!" With that a redheaded spellcaster appeared, and began waving her sceptre over another monster card zone.

"Thanks to her ability, I can discard a card from my hand, and special a tuner monster from my deck!" With that Noah began shuffling through his deck, and pulled out the monster he needed. "Rise up! Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier!" A man had now sprouted out onto the field, holding an ice like staff. "But neither will be sticking around for long. As I tune them both together!" Trudge could only watch, as cryomancer transformed into two green circles, and revealer turned into four stars inside of the circles. "When Icy winds arrive on shore, they bring with them hope for the future!" Them a flash of light appeared before them both, as Noah summoned his beast. "Synchro summon! Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!" Emerging from the light was a serpent like creature, with wings sprouting from it's back, and snowflake shaped face. "With that, I end my turn."

"Fine then, my turn!" Trudge drew a care from his deck, and immediately looked over at Noah with a smug look on his face. "I summon, Assault Dog, in defence mode. I then play one card face down." Your move brat!" The dog that had just appeared growled and bark menacingly at the young man, but he remained unfazed. "My turn, and I draw!" With that Noah had three cards in his hand, and could easily win this duel. "I activate my trap! Terror of Trishula! Thanks to this card, I can banish I card you control, and I think I'll choose your assault dog!" Before the trap could initiate it's effect, it was stopped in it's tracks by a trap of Trudge's. "Wiretap activates, and negates your cards effect, and sends it back into your deck." Noah, then smiled at the officer, knowing he had him hook line and sinker.

"Game over Trudge. I activate Brionac's ability! By discarding one card from my hand, I can send your dog back into your hand. Leaving you exposed to my attacks! But now, I'll summoning this card. Dance Princess of the Ice barrier! With Broniac's attack points at 2300, and Dance Princess at 1700 you know what that means.....this duel is over! Now attack!" Dance Princess emerged from the monster card zone, with spinning shurikens as her and Broniac laid siege to Trudge's life points. Ultimately beating him, and just in time too. The waste was starting to come through, and Noah had just slipped through the entrance hatch before it closed. He was finally free from Satellite, and for him there was only one place he could head to.

"Jack can wait, I need to head home."
