In the next duel, Greiger's monsters proved too much for Leo to handle, and he subsequently lost the duel. Though Noah noticed something when he was in the waiting room, Lazar was talking to the Professor about something, and they were speaking very hush hush. Noah went to call Tanner, having got his number from Yusei, but there was no signal anywhere, and he wasn't allowed to leave the waiting area. "I smell a rat." He said as he stood up, slamming his fist into the wall. Then he had the tapping of heels as Akiza rounded the corner, flanked by two mindless drones from what he could see.

He took his eyes of them for a moment, and found himself staring into the eyes of his best friend. His eyes were soft compassionate eyes, wanting nothing more than to reunite with her. Whilst her eyes were fierce and pained, he could just tell by her body language around him, she was uncomfortable being near him or anyone in general. But she stopped herself next to him, much to her escorts annoyance, and stared into his eyes. But her focus wasn't on his eyes for long, as she spied something around his neck. Instinctively she reached out for it, not believing what she was seeing. How? How had he gotten this necklace? The only person to have this was....that's when her power fluctuated a little bit, as she send a wave of psycho energy his way, but he stood firm where he stood, as he felt just a sample of her power.

"How do you have this?! Answer me!" He could see her starting to lose a bit of control over her powers, with more of her psychic energy escaping her body. Her emotions beginning to escalate, her breathing quickening as the item in her hair slowly coming loose. "You know how Akiza. How else would I know, that you have the necklace that accompanies this one. You gave me the Black Rose necklace, whilst I gave you the Blood Rose necklace." That seemed to take her aback, as her emotions began overwhelming her, tears began appearing in her eyes, as she tried to come to terms with what he was insinuating, and what she was starting to realise was the truth. Her Power inhibitor finally came loose, and her psychic powers hit him like a truck. He stumbled back, such was the onslaught of psychic energy. Before he started regaining his footing, and pushed through her powers, as tears began streaming down her face, when he was close enough he lunged forward and wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her into a hug. Her escort had at this point left, to try and fetch Sayer who was fast approaching.

At that moment, everything slowed down for the two of them. As Noah held her up against him, her eyes widening when she felt him wrap his arms around her. Yet she didn't push him away, instead she rested her head on his shoulder, as her powers slowly began to subside. She whispered something into his ear, something the now watching Sayer couldn't hear. "You're really him, aren't you?" Noah then leaned his head in close to her ear, his eyes fixed on Sayer who was grinding his teeth in anger, as two of his cronies got closer to them. Noah quickly whispered into her ear, before pushing himself away from her. Smiling at her, as their eyes remained locked. "A Thorn, will always protect his Rose." With those words Akiza knew, that he was the real deal, and with Sayer picking up her inhibitor she was led away for her next duel. "I don't know who you are." Sayer said as he approached Noah, arms folded across his chest. "But Akiza is mine, and you'll never break my hold over her."

With that Sayer left, and Akiza was now standing opposite the Commander. Her eyes fully focused on the task at hand, needless to say she soundly beat Koda. But her identity as a Signer, had been exposed to Goodwin.
