The Journey, of Team 5d's.

An invitation.

A week after he had met his siblings for the first time, Noah had settled into somewhat of a routine. He would duel Leo everyday, and soundly beat him each time. However, thanks to his constant duelling and coaching of his younger sibling, Leo had improved vastly since the first time they duelled. The time he spent with Luna, was a little different. She just wanted to talk, or play with her toys with him. She had no interest in duelling with him or her twin Leo, which made it even more strange when he noticed an invitation on the side, to the Fortune Cup. "When did you get that invite Luna?" Luna looked up at the envelope, and gently sighed to herself. "About a week before you arrived, it was strange. I've never duelled professionally and yet, I was invited to take part in a tournament. Something doesn't seem right...." She pulled her teddy up against her chest, and that prompted Noah, to take ahold of her hands, and pull her against his chest. Hugging her tightly in his embrace. "Me and Leo will protect you....always."

Just then however, a loud crash could be heard outside of their penthouse. Noah going into protective big brother mode, put his finger to his lips. Signalling for Luna to stay quiet, and did the same to Leo when he burst through the door. They both did as they were told, but followed Noah as he headed outside to find out what the commotion was. When he ventured out, he couldn't see anything initially until he turned to the right, and saw a red duel runner that looked very familiar, and when he saw the person who had crashed it his eyes widened. "Yusei!" Quickly Noah grabbed Yusei under his shoulders, and began dragging him inside. "Leo, grab the duel disk from his runner. There should be a button on the centre console, to disengage it." Leo quickly nodded and ran outside, as Noah placed Yusei onto the sofa. "Big brother, he's got a marker on him! That means he's a criminal, we can't keep him here." Luna started out, but Noah place a hand on her shoulder, and pressed his lips to her forehead. "He's an old friend of mine from Satellite, he's a good person. I promise. How about, when Leo comes back, you check his cards. See what they say." Luna nodded her head, and smiled up at her brother. She had told him about her ability to speak to card spirits, and while he was initially skeptical, he decided to believe in her and her words. When Leo came back in with the duel disk and deck, Luna checked through his deck, and saw her brother want lying, and so with that settled they all headed off to bed.

Morning soon came around, and Noah had just finished making the twins breakfast, when Yusei slowly sat up from the sofa he had found himself on. "About time you woke up Yusei!" Noah shouted from the kitchen, which caused Yusei to turn and see his old friend. "Noah? Where am I?" Yusei looked confused, most likely hit his head somewhere. Noah surmised, before he began speaking. "You're in my old home in the tops, and these are my siblings....well half siblings. Leo, and Luna." Yusei looked across at the twins who were hiding behind Noah, before slowly pulling away from him, as Yusei smiled towards them. "Been a long time coming, I know how much you've missed this." Yusei's spoke, as Noah extended his hand out to him, which he gladly took and was pulled up to his feet. "I should probably go, I don't want to cause you guys any trouble." The twins looked up at Noah, who had a frown on his face. "I understand, at least let us walk you out."

With that, the three of them walked down the driveway with Yusei, and watched as he got on his runner, only for Trudge to pull up in front of him. Much to Yusei and Noah's shock. "Trudge! What're you doing?" Noah shouted out, as the twins hid behind him again. "What am I doing? Bringing you two clowns in, you've broken the law and I'm gonna make sure you get the book thrown at you!" Before Trudge could do anything though, a small clown looking gentleman approached the group, and bowed before them. "Lazar." Noah muttered out, he'd seen this clown before, and he served directly under Director Goodwin. "We meet again Noah, I do so hope the years have been kind. Of course, if you'd taken me up on my offer the last time we spoke, you'd have been reunited with your family sooner. But I digress." Noah went to lunge for Lazar, but the hands of Leo and Luna grabbed his hands, and gently tugged him back. "I came here, to extend invitations. To both yourself, and Yusei Fudo. It seems the director has taken a great interest in you both." Trudge was about to protest at what Lazar was saying, but the clown held his hand up to silence him. "We look forward to seeing you there! Oh and Noah, one other thing, you may even cross a certain.....Black Rose. Have a good afternoon."

With that Lazar and Trudge both left, leaving the group alone. "Black Rose? What does he mean by that?" Yusei asked Noah, who looked deep in thought. What did Lazar mean by that? He kept thinking and thinking, but nothing was coming to mind. "Hey Noah, if what they say is true, and The Black Rose Witch is real, then I may know where she might appear!" Leo said jumping up and down, a look of happiness on his face. "If Dexter has it right, then she'll appear.....Tomorrow!"

With that their task was set, find this Black Rose and see what sort of connection he had with her....little did he know.....this would a be reunion. Ten Years in the making.
