The Speech.

It was time, for the opening ceremony of the Fortune Cup, sponsored by Sector Security. Everyone had gathered in the corridor, waiting for their cue to step out onto the platform that would raise up in front of the crowd. Yusei, Noah, Leo (Disguised as Luna) and Luna herself, were grouped together. "You better not embarrass me." Luna said to her disguised twin, arms folded across her chest. "Relax it'll be fine! No way I'm gonna lose." Leo said in response, clenching his fist and throwing it up in the air.

"Excuse me!" Just then Akiza and members of the group she was with walked past them, causing 'Luna' to jump out of the way. But not before Noah and her locked eyes once more, the tension between the two of them palpable and obvious to all. "Getting through to her is gonna take everything I have, and my Ice Barrier's aren't enough. So I'm gonna use my real deck when I face her." That caused everyone's eyebrows to raise up, was he insinuating he hadn't been trying at this point? "Had a feeling you had an ace up your sleeve." Yusei said with a smile on his face, which Noah returned of course. His hand reached down into his shirt, and gently rubbed the black Rose that he had hidden there. Not long after the group were asked to step onto the platform, but before he did so Noah turned his sister. "Don't trust anyone in suits Luna, remember what I told you the other day? This tournament is too convenient, and the fact four of us potentially have Mark's on us is no coincidence." Luna nodded her head, before scuttling away with Bolt Tanner one of Yusei's friends from the facility.

Soon enough, the competitors were all brought up to the surface via the platform, all being cheered helically by the crowd. "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Fortune Cup, and boy what a tournament it promises to be. Now let me introduce the participants! Firstly, The Always mysterious Shira, The Great Greiger, Commander Koda, The Professor, Miss Akiza Izinski, Sir Randsborg, The Lovely Miss Luna, The Dynamic Noah Frost and Yusei Fudo!" As soon as the crowd saw Yusei and his marker, they began to grow unruly an restless. Insulted that a satellite reject was amongst those competing. Of course Yusei wasn't bothered at all, but Noah's blood began raging. He stepped out from the lineup and snatched the microphone from the announcers hands. "H-hey!" The announcer shouted, which is when Noah turned his head around to face, a look of anger on his face.

Once the announcer backed off, Noah put the microphone to his lips. Which caused Jack to lean forward from his position behind him. "I've got something I have to get off my chest! So you all better sit your butts down, and pay attention!" The crowd quickly quietened down, as they looked at this man before them, some with anger others with intrigue and fascination. Noah then continued. "You ridicule and vilify those from the Satellite sector because it's easy, because it makes you feel better about yourselves. Yet you don't truly understand, the trials people go through everyday just to survive. How there are hundreds of orphans the other side, who are being taken care of by Wonderful people who refuse to let Satellite break them. You have it lucky being here, none of you have to go through it. How do I know this? Because I've lived there, I was taken care of by those people, when I was nearly killed in an accident, that I refuse to blame anyone for. I was dumped on a boat to Satellite and left for dead. I'm now back where I belong, with my siblings. But I refuse to ever forget about those that got me here, Yusei being one of them." He turned his head to Jack, giving him a nod of acknowledgment before returning his focus back to the crowd. Who were slowly starting to come around. "When you see Yusei duel, I promise you all you'll be mesmerised. Because, he's Satellite's Shooting Star. Their pride and joy, and he's gonna show you a way of duelling the likes of which you've never seen before, and you can bet your ass that I'm gonna be with him every step of the way."

With that, Noah handed the microphone back to the announcer before Rex and Jack Atlas began applauding his words, which of course caused the crowd to go wipe as well. "Well with that rousing speech from the charismatic Noah, let us see the match ups for the tournament! The first match will be, Noah Frost taking on Sir Randsborg!" Noah looked across at Randsborg, who simply looked across at him with an almost cocky smile. "Next will be Luna taking on Greiger. Followed by the lovely Akiza taking on Commander Koda. Lastly, Yusei Fudo will take on Shira. With the Professor sitting out for now, as he will take on one of the losers from the previous duels. Without further ado, let the Fortune Cup officially begin!"
