A crisp wind blew through the compound, an older man taking a moment of peace as he could hear various vehicles arriving from the opposite side of the large walls. The wind blew at his robes, the material clinging to his skin as he took a moment to think. It was moments like this that he truthfully disliked, but if it wasn't completed then it would fracture everything they knew.

???: Master Ueda?

Master Ueda as it appeared he was called turned to find a young man.

???: The families have started arriving. The majority are accounted for except for a few notable members.

Ueda took a moment to glance across the courtyard once more to see that the large doors to the compound were opening, revealing various people. From young to old, tall to short, the gathered people talked idly in a pleasant manner as they entered the complex. Ueda took a moment to sigh as he knew the pleasantries would not last for much longer at these kinds of meetings.

Ueda: Who is currently missing?

???: The Moro family said they encountered delays in their flight from Hokkaido and would arrive within the next few days. The patriarch and matriarch are still en route from Kochi province and aside from a few members abroad, the son of Hideie (L/n) is still reported to be in Tokyo.

Ueda: I thought he was attending Kyoto?

???: We learned of a recent transfer to shore up manpower in Tokyo. The specific reasons are still unknown but it is likely due to this transfer that the young (L/n) is unaware of this meeting. Would you like me to send another letter?

Ueda: Yes as many members as possible need to be gathered.

The younger male nodded and walked off, leaving Ueda to take a moment to pinch the bridge of his nose. A small amount of guilt-filled him as he knew he was pulling you away from crucial studies to attend silly matters like this. However, if all things went smoothly then you could all go on your way once again.

(Y/n): Gah how could I get taken out so easily?!

You remarked at the sky, the soft pelting rain running over your face. Your glasses were hit with a drop here and there but for the moment you were feeling humiliated.

(Y/n): I should have explained to her how my power works... or at least learn how to use a weapon or something.

You took note of the small amount of fog gathering around you as the rain brought with it the ideal fighting environment. It was then a soft gurgle filled your ears, drawing your gaze to a dismembered demon. The limbs of the creature laid about in various places as you took a moment to rest your foot against it.

(Y/n): Do you think a girl like her could like me? I like to think that I wouldn't care about this stuff but... Ah, what am I talking about? Anything you have left to say?

The creature let out a weak gurgle once more before what you could assume was its head exploded, fog trailing out of the now open neck hole. You ran a hand through your soaked hair once more and took a moment to contemplate. This was the first of many demands supposedly infesting this building.

(Y/n): A better question is... why do they always send me on missions by myself? I mean yeah I'm a Grade B or something but you don't think I wouldn't want a girl with me or something? Hah... maybe I am being influenced just a bit.

Your gaze lifted up to the building. It was largely abandoned from what you can tell. The demonic aura coming off the building was a dead giveaway though you knew these bastards liked to take hostages sometimes.

(Y/n): Oi! If you're alive in there, shout!

You waited for a response and heard only silence. You lifted your hand to your mouth and cupped it softly.

(Y/n): If you're human then please come out now or warn me!

Once again silence. You weren't sure if there were humans in the building but you certainly couldn't sense anything living. Everyday citizens don't have much of an aura though which only makes you a bit more hesitant. Your hand lifted from your mouth to your eyes, peeling away your glasses to tuck them away in your pocket. You took in a quick breath before lifted your hand to face the vacant opening that served as the entrance to the building.

(Y/n): This is your last warning. If you're a human and still alive in there let me know now!

You waited for a crucial few moments before once again you were met with silence. You let out a breath as you readied your hand to close though... something nagged at you. You wanted to be done with this and let it go but if someone was alive in there... haha... Before you knew it you were walking inside the building ready to clean it out room by room. Maybe this would impress Maki enough to get her to train with you again? Heh... maybe!

???: Ueda.

The older man turned once more to find himself looking at a mature man, his shoulders slacked as his tired (E/c) eyes met his brown ones. The male before him wore a simple suit, white gloves attached to what appeared to be a relaxed-looking police uniform.

Ueda: Hideie? I wasn't expecting you so soon. Was your drive pleasant?

Hideie took a moment to let out a sigh before taking a step to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ueda.

Hideie: I wasn't planning to make the drive so suddenly but yes the countryside is rather lovely this time of year.

Ueda: I wasn't expecting this meeting either. Have you heard about what might be the topic?

Hideie: I was hoping you would know. Has my son arrived yet?

Ueda: It appears the letters did not reach your son in time before he was transferred to the Tokyo school.

Hideie's eyes widened softly as he took a moment to lean his figure forward onto the railing. His eyes closed softly as he chuckled.

Hideie: I suppose this makes me look like a bad father for not knowing that?

Ueda: If it's any consolation none of us knew either. A new letter is being sent to him at this moment.

Hideie nodded his head softly before letting his head hang.

Hideie: When all the families gather it's never a good thing. I wonder what it is this time.

Ueda shrugged softly before leaning against the rail as well.

Ueda: Everyone gathered is one thing, but to have the patriarch and matriarch here means that something huge is about to happen as far as I can tell.

Hideie: I just hope we can keep it under wraps before the rest of Jujutsu knows what's happening. The damn vultures will try to rope us into something if they sense even a moment of weakness.

???: Mister Ueda!

The two men turned to find a young girl happily waving at them. Ueda cracked a smile onto his older face and moved to walk with the girl while the older (L/n) took a moment. If something big was about to happen he wasn't sure where you were safer. In Tokyo with complete strangers or stuck in a complex with the families. He supposed he would see soon how this mess would turn out as he awaited you.
