28) The truth

Sophia POV

There was this end of the year party today at Taylor's house. Of course I didn't want to go however, I need to talk to Taylor. Samuel literally dragged me into the party. He's only here to meet his girl now which is good for him but not me

I haven't seen Taylor since she kissed me. I look everywhere for her but I couldn't find her. I asked someone and he said she's upstairs playing ping pong with her friends.

I went upstairs and saw Taylor sitting on the a stool while her friends playing ping pong. I was going to come up to her but stopped when I heard my name which made me hide behind the wall.

"So when are you going to tell that Sophia girl?" Emily, one of her friends, said to Taylor.

"About?" Taylor responded then took a shot of alcohol

"How you're just playing with Sophia" Emily said and her friends laughed

"I don't know but not now" Taylor smiled

"We had a deal to make you kiss her and we will give you $100 each from us" Taylor Ex boyfriend said

So Taylor was just using me to get money?

I trusted her

I felt tears coming but hold it in

"Wait....don't tell me you like that freak!?" Emily laughed and Taylor gagged

"Never! I will never like Sophia. She's just a thing to play so I can get money. She's a nothing to me and never will be something. We had a deal, and I kissed her." Taylor laughed

Her friends gave her money but Taylor didn't accept it

"It's fine guys"

I knew I could never trust Taylor

"Sophia!!" Someone said behind me and I got scared which made me reveal myself from the wall. saw

It was Samuel's girlfriend.

I saw Taylor and she stood up from her stool and saw me

"Do you see Samuel anywhere I can't find him?" She asked

"Oh- uh- no I have to go" I responded to her

"Sophia! Sophia wait!" I heard Taylor behind me as I was trying to get through these people. I made it out of the door and felt a hand grabbing my wrist making me turn around

"I don't want to see you again" I said

"Listen it's not what it's like!" Taylor said

"Oh so you didn't use me? Because that's what I heard you say coming from your own mouth" I started to cry.

"No- I'm yes I don't know-"

"Whatever" I turned around

"I like you Sophia!"

Taylor shouted

"I don't know why or how but you just made me fall for you" Taylor said. "When me and my friends made that deal that was before I got to know you, but as soon we started to hang out I literally forgot about that deal and I started to like you" Taylor said and I was hesitant to believe her

"Please let's just forget about all of this" She begged

"I have to think- I need to be alone for awhile" I said and walked away

Luckily my house is at the same neighborhood as her house. It was a short walk

I went to my house and unlocked it with my key and surprisingly I think my dad is home. He's never home this early. He probably came home when I was at the party.

I was about to go upstairs when I heard yelling in his room

The door was kinda opened and I saw Gal and dad arguing about something

"Honey we're about to get married! You have to move to Canada with me" Dad argued

"What about Soph?" Gal responded

"What about her? She's going to be college and she's about to be an adult so she's not my kid anymore I just need you by my side. She can live on her own I don't care. We can start a new family" Dad said and I felt my heart shattered

"So what do you say Gal? Just me and you"

"Fine" Gal sighs and dad kissed her passionately

While I was standing here with tears falling.

Why is today such a bad day.

I called Samuel and asked if I can spend a night over there and he said okay. His mom picked me up and comfort me once we got to the house.

Gal promised me to wait for me...
