Sophia heard this obnoxious beeping sound

She opened her eyes but was blinded by the bright light. She opened her eyes slowly and adjust them a bit. She looked around and saw she was in a hospital room

What happened?

Sophia looked back what she can remember

Then she realized

Her own father shot her

She sighs

She felt weight on her arm and turned around.

Gal...

She was holding onto Sophia hand and was sleeping.

How long was I out?

I tried to let go of Gal hands slowly but it woke her up. Gal suddenly woke up and looked up at Sophia was shock when she saw her awake.

"Soph! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Gal panicked and Sophia just looked at her. "What?" Gal started to get nervous

Sophia just started to cry and Gal hugged her

"You're okay baby" Gal whispered

"You're safe now I'm right here, okay?" Gal kissed her cheek and slowly Sophia stopped crying. "Where's Dad?" Sophia asked and she saw how Gal clenched her fist

"He's in jail." Gal said and Sophia nodded

"He's gone now." Gal took her hand. Sophia saw there was no ring on her finger. They finally got divorced. Which confused Sophia. How long was she out?

"What's today?" Sophia asked

"January 17th"

"You were out for 2 weeks" Gal said and Sophia jaw dropped.

"I miss you so much. I thought I lost you" Gal kissed Sophia and Sophia kissed her back. It was a passionate kiss. A kiss filled me love

"I'm so sorry. It was supposed to be me. I shouldn't have left you. I hate myself" Gal said "Shh it's okay. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me forever now" Sophia said and Gal chucked

"I love you so much Soph"

"I love you too Gal"

"Sophia?"

"Dr Blanchett" Sophia smiled. "I'm glad you're doing well and you still look amazing I may add" Cate laughed and Sophia blushed

Gal was giving her the dead stare though

"If you don't mind but I have to examine you for any pain or discomfort" Cate said and Sophia nodded

Cate was running through some tests

Gal phone suddenly ranged. "I have to take this" Gal kissed her cheek.

"Girlfriend? I thought you two hate each other?" Cate said "It's a long story" Sophia smiled. "Well I'll add that she never left your side. She was here since you got here. She didn't even eat. If she had to go somewhere, she would hire some bodyguards for you" Cate said

"She really loves you." Cate said

"I love her too"

Gal went back to the room and sat down next to Sophia and hold her hand

"Alright Sophia you're perfectly healthy. A nurse will be here shortly to change your bandage. After that you'll be discharged" Cate said

"Thank you for everything" Sophia said

Cate left and Gal chuckled

"You look amazing" Gal mocked

"No way! You're jealous" Sophia laughed

"Am not. That was just highly unprofessional of her" Gal rolled her eyes

"Sure" Sophia kissed her cheek

"Who was that on the phone?" I asked Gal

"Oh my goodness you're awake" Taylor barged in.

"It was Taylor"

"You stupid girl. I can't believe you got shot. You could've died!" Taylor cried. "I'm fine. I'm right here Taylor" Sophia laughed

"Home sweet home" Sophia laid down on the bed gently

Gal became uneasy with knowing Sophia isn't next to her at all times.

"Soph..."

Sophia looked at her

"Live with me." Sophia thought she misheard

"W-What?"

"Please. Live with me. I can't handle without you out of my sight knowing what could happen. I can't stay still without you by my side. I'll be your protector. Because as long you're with me, you're safe" Gal said

Sophia didn't say anything

Instead she kissed Gal

"I'll take that as a yes?"

"Yes yes yes" Sophia said

Gal lift Sophia and spin her around

"I can't wait for our future"
