"So I've been thinking" Cullen said while I sip on my whine. We were in his work office right now on a Friday evening. I sat on a couch while he sat in front of me.
"I want to go on a vacation. Just the two of us" He said and I immediately stop drinking my wine. "Oh really? Where?" I asked "I was planning to go to the beach house" He smiled
"Sure, why just us two?" I asked. "Because we never have free alone time anymore because of Sophia. She can be so annoying sometimes. Look I love her but I just wish she can move out already she gives me a headache" He said and I clenched my jaw
How can a father talk to his own daughter like that
"So? Sophia can come along. Come on, you don't want her to spend her Spring Break alone. This is last one before she's off to college" I said trying to persuade him
"You have a point" He sighs
"Think about it" I said standing up to leave but he coughed and point his lips. I kissed him and tried to not gagged. His lips are dry and I don't feel any sparks.
But with Soph. Her lips are so soft and I feel sparks every time I touch her.
I walked to my car and drove home when I saw Taylor's car. I sigh because I don't want to deal with her now. I got out of the car and so did she. She walked up to me and chuckled
"Why are you here?" I asked
"I want to talk to you" She said
"Look I have no time for this-"
"It's about Sophia" She said and I let her continue. "What is it?" I said becoming worried "You know I like her right?" She said "Whats your point?" I said "I saw you guys kissed in New York" She said and my heart dropped but I stayed calm "And why are you telling me this?" I said "I told you this before. She can never be yours" She said
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone because I actually care for Sophia. Unlike you" She said seriously
"Night" She went to her car and drove away
Sophia POV
Ahhhh I'm so excited
We're going to the beach house during my spring break! Me and my dad haven't went to the beach since my mom died and I'm so excited to go back. We would usually go there every spring break and summer. I packed my clothes and gave my luggage to my dad.
Gal met us at our house and we went to the car. It wasn't a long drive probably around an hour and a half. When we were near I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I miss this place so much
We arrived at the house and it was exactly how I remembered. I grabbed my luggage and ran inside the house to see my room. Everything is still here. Pictures. Books. My bedsheets. Everything was here where I last placed it.
"Honey! I'm going to go to a hardware store to buy some tools. Havent been here for a long time the house isn't new. My sink is stuck so I'll be gone quickly. In the meantime can you clean up? There's dust everywhere" Dad said "Okay I'll start cleaning up around here" I said and he left
I started to unpack when someone knocked on the door and I look up to see Gal leaning on it
She smiled and I started to blush. I stand up and she closed the door to walk in. She hugged me from the behind and kissed my cheek while I kept unpacking. "So we're alone..." She whispered
"Nope. We have cleaning to do" I got away from her grip. She sighs and groan "This is a vacation. Time to relax and to enjoy the party" She said and I giggled and grabbed a broom and the vacuum.
"I'll clean if..."
"If what?"
"Mhmmm I'll think about it" She said "Fine, can't believe you, an adult, refusing to clean up" I started to sweep
I saw her annoyed and I rolled my eyes
We've been dusting off the floors and the tables when we heard the door opened. My dad came in with a tool box and some new cleaning products
"Thought you guys might need some new cleaning stuff" He said and Gal smiled "Thank you" She picked up the things and opened it.
"Ah there's this bar I drove pass by, wanna check it out?" Dad asked to Gal
"Uh now? what about Soph-"
"I'll be okay. You two enjoy your time. I can just clean up the house s bit more" I smiled but Gal just looked at me "Come on just a few bottles of beer and we will be out" Dad said and Gal sigh
"Fine, but I'm not drinking. I hate alcohol" She said and Dad kissed her cheek "Hurry and go change" Dad went away to his room to change
"What was that?" She asked me and I shrugged "Soph..." She walked closer to me "Gal you're like 35, go out and have some fun with other people around your age" I said "But I wanna hang out with you" She said "Sorry but just this one time" I said "Now go change into something to wear" I said and walked to the living room

Dad and Gal left about 3 hours ago and it was getting dark. I wonder if they're okay. I was just sitting on the couch watching the Tv and suddenly felt bored. I grabbed my phone to call dad but he wasn't answering
Odd
The door burst opened and I jumped
Dad and Gal came in but Dad was stumbling around while Gal was holding him.
"Dad!" I rushed over to help and walked to the coach
"What happened? He looks sick" I said "He had beer and then chugged a bottle of whisky, but luckily I stopped him" Gal sighs
Gosh he even smells like alcohol
Next thing we heard was snoring. Dad was knocked out. Gal and I carried him and walked to their room where we put him down on the bed. He slept and we went out the room and closed the door. Gal went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water
"How was it?" I said walking to my room and Gal trailed behind me. "Boring. Nothing excites me anymore" She said and I sat down on my bed
"Really? Then what excites you?" I asked her.
"Mhmm.....you?" She said walked closer to me and bend down so we were eye level and I froze.
"Gal we can't-"
She kissed me and got on top of me
"Sorry. You're just irresistible" She smiled and I chuckled
