Chapter 11: Keeping it a Secret

A/N: so sorry for not updating work was crazy over the summer and have been busy with college assignments, but here is a new chapter I hope you like it. 

Chapter 11: Keeping it a Secret

Once Harry and his father were alone Snape began to speak.

"What were you thinking?

"That I wanted to sit with Draco and to show the other Slytherins that I won't back down from our 'truce'" said Harry in a more serious tone of voice than before as he sensed which direction this conversation is going in.

"I understand that but you're going to get unwanted attention" said Father.

"I know but I didn't feel comfortable letting Draco out of my sight" explained Harry.

"I understand but you must try and hide the fact that you are together, sitting at the Slytherin table wouldn't have helped the rumours about you twp. All I'm saying is try and keep the fact that you are dating a secret" said Father.

"Ok I'll try my best" said Harry forlornly, just wishing he could be normal for once in his life and not The Boy Who Lived.

"I know it'll be hard, but you'll get through this, you can overcome any obstacle you set your mind to. Just remember I'm here for when you need to talk and so are your friends" said Father.

"I know" said Harry.

"Right well you best head to class" Father said.

After talking to his father Harry left to meet up with Ron and Hermione outside the Charms classroom.

"What did Snape want to talk to you about?" asked Hermione.

"oh you know just about sitting at the Slytherin table and to keep everything a secret. Also, that I can talk to him if needed" said Harry.

"You know he's got a point Harry" said Hermione in her know-it-all voice.

"Yeah I know" replied Harry.

Right at that moment professor Flitwick opened the classroom to begin class. The trio of friends took their usual seats at the back of the classroom and got out their quills and parchment ready for the lesson.

"For todays class we will be taking notes on how to cast the Accio charm" said Professor Flitwick.

Once Flitwick explained their tasks for the lesson Harry went back to daydreaming about his newly found mate and what will happen during his first full moon which is in a few days. Harry is hoping that his father will be there to help him as well as Draco. Since Draco would be able to help keep him calm and his father seeing as he has been through it before. Before Harry knew it the class was over, and everyone was packing up their things to go to their next class which happened to be potions, which for once Harry was not dreading seeing as it meant he could see Draco.

The Trio of friends left the Charms classroom and headed down towards the dungeons for their potions class. When they arrived at the classroom the Slytherins were already there waiting. Harry and Draco locked eyes for a moment before turning away to talk to their respected friends not wanting to give anyone any more reasons to gossip about the king of the lions and the Slytherin Prince. Harry felt calmer now that he knew Draco was near perhaps it had something to do with the upcoming full moon or it could be to do with them being newly discovered mates. Before Harry could over think anymore his Father strode past his students and into the classroom to begin the class.
