Chapter 8: friends and family

Harry and Draco left the ROR in search of their friends and Serverus Snape to tell them what they just discovered about themselves, each other and their true feelings. Harry went towards Gryffindor tower in search of his friends and Draco left to go down to the Slytherin common room in search of his friends and possibly Snape as he also lives in the dungeons of Hogwarts castle. They agreed to meet back up in the ROR in an hour with their friends and Snape considering he is a part of Harry's family and the fact that Draco is his godson to tell them about them being mates.

Harry was walking down the corridor that led to Gryffindor tower when he bumped into his two best friends.

"Where were you Harry? We were worried about you" said Hermione.

"Ah about that, I've found out who my mate is and your going to meet him soon, but before you do please promise me that you'll listen to what he has to say before you freak out over who he is" said Harry a bit hesitantly wanting his friends to try and not freak out over the fact that his mate was Mal-Draco of all the people in the school.

"Okay we promise not to freak out. So, when exactly will we meet him? Your definition of soon is a lot different from ours Harry" said Ron.

"How about now?" said Harry with excitement clear in his voice as he finally got to see Draco once again even though it's only been an hour it felt like a life time, perhaps it had something to do with the fact that they've accepted thee bond between them and that they could only spend so many minutes away from each other harry had no idea. Maybe his father would know, Harry made a mental note to himself to ask his father about that.

"Where are we going to meet him? As I presume you want to keep who it is a secret" said Hermione in her know it all voice.

"The ROR of course and be warned he's going to bring his friends as we want to tell you all at the same time as there is two sides of the story that you must here to understand it completely" explained Harry whilst walking to the ROR not wanting to wait any longer to see Draco.

Draco was walking down the staircases of Hogwarts to the Dungeons in search of Pansy and Blaise his two best friends and Snape of course. As he neared the Slytherin Common room entrance he saw Snape turn the corner into his office, so Draco decided to follow him there before he finds his friends. When he approached the door to Snape's office, he knocked on the door and a faint 'enter' could be heard from the other side of the door.

"Hello Serverus, I came to tell you that I've found my mate and we're only going to tell the people closest to us for safety reasons and you will understand why once you've met him. Now before we go and see him, I need to find Blaise and Pansy." Explained Draco.

"That's great news Draco, but who is it?" asked Snape with curiosity and serenity.

"You will see within the hour, but could you help me find Pansy and Blaise. They need to be a part of this as well as my mate's friends" said Draco.

"Alright let's check the common room for them as that is where they will most likely be" said Serverus.

So, Draco and Serverus left his office to go to the Slytherin Common room. As they entered everyone stopped in their tracks wondering why their head of house was in their common room, since he hardly ever visits them in the common room. Draco ingorned the silence and looked around the room for his two friends. When he spotted them sat in the arm chairs by the fire place he ran up to them in excitement.

"There you two are, I've been looking for you. There is something that I would like to tell you guys" said Draco in a rush.

"We've been here all afternoon Draco. We were starting to wonder where you went off to" said Pansy.
