"The cat is in my hands!" You announced on your headset. You put the cat in your arms and walked out of the gardens.
"Great job Y/n!" Sai said as team 25 walked to the Hokage tower.
"Thank you, thank you. All thanks to chasing my nii-san around." You smiled.
"You barely talk about your family to us Y/n" Hoki pointed out
"He's right," Renga agreed with him
"Maybe I don't feel like it" You sighed.
"That's reasonable," Hoki pets Momiji in his arms.
To Naruto
"Oh thank you for finding my cat! I was looking everywhere for him!" The old lady said in happiness.
"No problem," Renga responded to her with a smile.
"Alright guys, so your next mission is-huh?" Naruto got interrupted by you. You walked behind his desk and looked at all of the mission papers.
"How come we can't get these missions?" You asked as you picked up a piece of paper that said S rank.
"Well you see Y/n, you guys are only Genin so you have to start off with something light," Naruto explains.
"But what happens if we don't want to start light? These missions are so boring." You sighed.
'She has a point' Hoki sighed.
'I almost fell asleep on the last one' Renga scratched the back of his head.
"I know how you feel Y/n but-"
"Hey let's do this one!" You grabbed another piece of paper that said B rank.
"Um-"
"Oh no, what about this one?" You took one that said A rank
"Y/n-"
"Or this-" You got interrupted by Shikamaru.
"What about this one?" He picked up a C rank.
"What do we have to do?" You asked him.
"You're just escorting someone to a village," He explained.
"But that sounds boring"
"But," Naruto looked at you with a smirk "When a bad guy comes in, it might turn into a B rank"
Your eyes widen in excitement. "Really?!"
Naruto nodded. Shikamaru gave the paper to Sai.
"Be careful" Naruto said as he waved at Team 25.
Outside of the building
"Alright, go to the gate at 6 and be well rested" Sai orders.
"Hai, Sai Sensei!" You and your teammates said at the same time.
Sai has now left, leaving you 3 by yourselves.
"Do you guys want to go eat Ramen?" You asked.
"Yeah, I'm hungry," Hoki said as Renga nodded.
You smiled and let them lead you to the ramen shop.
As you guys make your way to Ichiraku Ramen, you start to ask questions.
"So has the leaf village got attacked before?" You asked looking around.
"Oh yeah, plenty of times, but not in this generation. It was mostly happening around the 5th Hokage." Renga answered.
