The next day in the leaf

Himawari wakes up by someone shaking her.

"Himawari wakes up, why are you sleeping here?" Sakura asked as she crouched down to her level.

Himawari eyes widen in realizion.

"They're gone!!" She yelled.

"Who's gone?"

"Boruto, Sarada Y/n Shikadai, everyone is gone!! They left the Leaf village!!!" Himawari starts to cry.

Sakura looked at her shocked and put her hands on her shoulders.

"Are they coming back soon?" Sakura asked her.

Himawari shook her head fast and kept repeating 'They're gone.'

'No this can't be happening...' Sakura picked up Himawari and started her way to the others.

With the kids

"Boruto, do you think your mom is ok? I haven't seen her since I woke up." You sat beside Boruto on the grass.

Boruto looked away from his ninja headband.

"I think that she's ok- no, I know that she's ok. She's a strong person." Boruto looked at you.

"Did you visit her before we left?"

"Yeah, She looked ok. Just a few bruises here and there." Boruto looked back at his headband.

"What are you going to do with it?" You also looked at his headband.

Boruto grabbed a kunai and crossed out the leaf village sign.

You looked at him shocked.

"Why did you do that?"

"They might not accept us back when we walk out of those walls when we just abandon our duties. We have turned into Rogue Ninjas." Boruto explained.

"Since we are Rogue ninjas now, we can't go back to the village, it's as simple as that," Chocho spoke up.

"But you said you guys were going to go back, once you are stronger." You looked at everyone.

"We lied, just so Himawari could let us go, but it didn't work." Sarada pushed up her glasses.

You just looked at them in shock, with no words left to say.

"Zero, why are you still with us?" Inojin looked at Zero.

"I just wanted to, my village doesn't like me anyway," Zero explained playing with a black animal that looked like Momiji but different.

"That animal just reminded me, where's Momiji sensei!?" Lee looked around.

"I don't know, she just disappeared." You tried to remember where she was at last. "She was with my family last so they should know where she's at."

"Maybe,"

Back in the leaf village

"So they left the leaf village," Naruto mumbled.

The whole room is quiet for a moment.

"Why the hell did they leave!? This doesn't make any sense!" Tamari yelled.

"I had a feeling it would lead up to this, didn't you have the same feeling Sasuke?" Shikamaru looked at Sasuke. Sasuke nodded.

"What do you mean you had a feeling, Shika?" Lee questioned him.

"Well they have left out the village penalty of times, then when they leave the village the number of days they have left out the village has increased," Shikamaru explained to the group.

"You're right..." Ino looked down at her feet, Sai patted her back.

"Naruto, you know that they can't return to the village. They are not Rogue Ninjas, they're criminals." Shikamaru looked at Naruto.

"I know that but..." Naruto looked at his hand.

"How can you say that about your own kid!?!" Sakura yelled at Shikamaru.

"Trust me, the truth is hard for me too. You're not alone in this." Shikamaru reasoned. "The same thing has happened to Sasuke,"

"Then do you think they will come back?" Sasuke has finally spoken up.

"I don't know for sure. They will be gone longer than you have, but there is a possibility for them to at least visit the leaf." Shikamaru answered.

Sasuke sighed heavily. "Too much has happened in a span of 2 days..."

Back to you guys

"So she just disappeared?" You asked Pain.

You and Pain are in Konan's room. Konan I'd resting in bed.

"Yes, but she's still with you," He poked your stomach.

"In my belly?" You raised your shirt up to show your stomach. Your eyes widened. "When did these black symbols get on my stomach?"

"The day you have turned into a Jinchuriki." Pain answered.

"Y/n, I have some missions for you,"

"Yes, what is it?" You let your shirt go.

"Do you remember the Akuyami village?"

You nodded your head.

"I want you and your team to go there and show them you can run it, your second mission is to avoid Kawaki, don't even start a fight with him, just try to run away."

"Wait, who's Kawakili?" You asked confused. Pain sighed and shook his head.

"It's Kawaki, Just know that he's the boy with Black and yellow hair, Don't interact with him." Pain gave you a serious look.

"I get it jeez." You look out the window "will mom be ok?"

"She's fine, she just needs rest."

You sighed and leaned on the window frame.

'Who the heck is kawaki?'
