where have you been (Armin x Reader)

20.

y/n pov:

As I wanna take the next document I hear Sasha talking behind me "what are you doing it's so late." closing every document I had and putting them behind my back "oh it was nothing I was just reading a book since I can't sleep." She nods "go sleep tomorrow will be a long day."

Walking back to my bed I hide the documents again and go to sleep few times moving around I finally fall asleep.

Just like usual I wake up and do my morning stuff, showering, brushing my teeth and hair as we all walk towards the dining place we see commander Erwin standing in the front as he wanna say something.

"I wanna talk with cadets who went to save y/n and y/n self after the breakfast." Everyone looks at our table which contains Eren, Mikasa, Sasha, Connie and Jean. Armin sat on the other table with Annie but I'm not paying attention to them.

"About what will he talk did we do something wrong?" I hear Connie saying, "I don't think he will be mad maybe just asking if we saw something on our way back." They all continue to talk but I just stare at my food and eat.

"Y/n? Y/n?" I feel some besides me shaking me from my deep thoughts "is everything okay you look so pale." Mikasa says "uhm yes I'm okay I just was in some deep thoughts." As I touch my face it kinda feels warm but ignore it.

Today was actually a free day besides that Erwin wanted to talk to us, we could do what we want others wanted to visit their hometown and some wanted just stay and do something else.

I don't have any plans yet so I'll what I will do maybe I'll continue with the documents, "let's go the commander is waiting for us." Eren says and we all get up following Eren. Knock Knock. "Come in." Is all we hear.

As we all stand at the door in row facing the commander he continues with writing stuff, "so could you tell me what happened?" He says looking at us with one eyebrow up. "Y/n was in danger and all alone so we tried to save her." He nods.

"Y/n is there something that happened when you were there alone?" He says and looks at me just like the others "I saw a titan but it was a different one, he was build like a monkey and it could talk just like Eren." The others look with big eyes at me while the commander just nods.

After that he points his head towards the door which means we need to leave, "we will talk later everyone I'm busy now." He says before we all leave "wait so you met a titan that could talk?" Connie asks.

"It was asking about Eren as if it needed you for something I think." Mikasa stands next to Eren and looks at me "did he say why he needs Eren?" I shake my head "no he didn't but after I wanted to run away and met you all he was chasing me." I add up.

Worried Jean looks at me "did he hurt you?" He asks "no I'm okay." As we all walk back to our rooms Eren and Mikasa head to Armin just like always and the others go somewhere, that means I'm alone so I could do some more research.

But it's my free day today should I talk to Armin instead? I then see him walking.

"hey Armin!" I say and walk over him and try not to be awkward or something "hey." Is all he says and looks away from me.

"Wanna do something? It's been a while since we hang out and you're acting a bit different these days so let's go." And before he could answer I just pull his arm to the tree again.

But on our way he suddenly stops.

"I'm dating Annie you know?" I turn around and face an annoyed Armin, "and what do you want me to do about it, I don't know what you're thinking but I just wanna talk as friends." I say but deep down I'm hurt by the fact he is with Annie.

"Okay then make it fast please." And we both sit down leaning against the tree, "there is actually something I wanna tell you about me." He just nods and looks at up, rolling up my sleeve I come a bit closer to him so he could see it.

He looks at my arm and then looks back at me, "what is this." He says but not giving me a confusing look more like he knows what it is and acts like he doesn't "you know damn well what this is Armin." He looks at me and shakes his head "you're lying, this isn't true."

"Why would I lie about this I-." "Stop! Leave me alone how could you make me believe that you were dead all those years, I can't believe you!"

He says trying to get up but trips and runs away with his hands in his hair, and a few tears.

What have I done, I know damn well how Armin is feeling and it's all my fault. Just putting my head on my knees all I can do is blame myself and cry, cry everything out if that's gonna help.

He is gonna hate me even more.
