     Alix's  POV:
She wanted to be happy for Adrienette.

She was especially since she had Robbie.

She was grateful that things were going so smoothly for them.

    Marinette's  POV:
It has been a day since she agreed to date him.

       She smiled.  She blushed.

Today was their first date.  Gosh, why was she so nervous?

   She felt silly.

She put on a blue dress.

She let Alix style her hair.

   "Well, how do I look?"

Alix told her, "You look great."

  "Will Adrien like it?"

"Yes, he would be crazy not to. Besides, he is just crazy about you."

     Marinette nodded her head.

  Alix left the room.

Marinette walked into the throne room and curtsied.

 Adrien's  POV:
" Marinette, I thought I told you, you need not curtsy for me."

He looked up after he gently scolded her.

"Whoa, you look as beautiful as the day we first met.  Only, now you are much older. Much taller, and way over fifty-seven pounds."

"Yes, well, I am no longer a child.  The same could be said for you. Only in your case, you are taller than me now."

Adrien laughed. He knew she was right.

    "Shall we, my lady?"

     Adrien held her hand.

    "Yes, we shall, my Adri."

Adrien walked with her around the palace grounds.

He never thought it possible to fall more in love with her. Yet, here she took his breath away once more.

He lead her to where the roses bloomed. He plucked one and handed it to her.

      Marinette's  POV:
         She sniffed the rose.

     "Why, thank you, kind man."

Marinette was pleased with the gift. It was a lovely shade of red with pink tips. The edges had white, orange, and purple.  It appeared to be a rare shade indeed.

She watched in surprise as Adrien walked over to a lovely table all set up with food.

"Adri, it is just lovely.  I mean, all this for us?"

    "Yes, anything for you, Marinette."

Marinette noticed his voice lowered. She could tell he was deep in thought.

She savored the moment as she ate a nice meal with him.

After the meal, as she stood, Adrien offered her a hand.

    "Shall we dance, m' lady?"

"Y-Yes,"  She stuttered though she was quite sure what caused this reaction.

Adrien's POV:

   "Shall we dance, m'lady?"

Adrien was relieved when she said yes. He noticed she stuttered. He found it to rather cute.

He was so happy to dance with her. It felt as it was part of a dream come true at long last.

He felt her lay her head on his chest, and he relaxed.

The two enjoyed each other's company.

Neither of them noticed when Natalie and Alix came and cleaned up the mess from their feast.

Adrien was happy to have Marinette back where she belonged in his arms.
