DRACO MALFOY POV

I slowly picked up one of the diaries and examined the cover. This one didn't look very old.

Before I could think of anything else, I head Astoria calling Y/n to come back.

"Wait, I need to write a note for Tom first. He'll get worried when he comes back and I'm not there." Y/n yelled back from the hall.

I turned back to the diaries and spelled the covering spell on them again. I then closed the cabinet but kept that one diary. Let's see what Tom's been up to last summer.

I draped the cloak over myself and waited by the door. After some time, I heard two pairs of footsteps approach.

Astoria and Y/n entered the room. I took this chance and left.

I made my way to my room. Everything was happening fast and my heart was beating harder than usual.

I moved the cloak off me and threw it on my couch. My hands gripped tighter on the diary as I walked over to the bed. I just know Tom is hiding something.

I brought out my wand and spelled my door locked. Then I opened the diary on a later page.

'She came over for Mattheo again, adorable and gorgeous as ever. I can't even be in the same house they are in when they fuck. I don't think Mattheo knows how loud they are.-,'

I rolled my eyes. Gross. I briefly scanned through the pages. This man was obsessed with me and Y/n.

'Hogwarts will be starting soon, I'll be having fun this year. Being The Handler should be easy enough.'

I looked up from the book. I knew it. I mean, before I just guessed, but it's true. Tom was the big man in charge of giving out the tasks. He has the perfect cover-up. He's a god at manipulation. He has people supporting him. He never loose. He's perfect for that position.

He made me date Lola, he made me push Y/n away. Wait, that would mean he also was the one who orchestrated the threesome between me, Y/n, and him. And he knew I had to leave to get with Lola that night. It was all his plan.

I mean when Blaise brought the diaries claiming they were the exact ones like Tom's I should have known. But then he also said they were really popular. Which I did find weird cause I haven't seen one person with the same diary.

Also, that's would mean Y/n knew. She asked for my tasks and was studying the design on them. Y/n had also suspected. Maybe that was what she was trying to tell me before Tom came. I wasn't the only one who suspected.

He was clever with how to fix his mistake.

I dove back into the book and flipped back and forth through the pages.

One specific page caught my eye multiple times. The handwriting was messier, but I ignored it for a while.

Tom had also written ways he wanted to get rid of Y/n. My skin ran cold on the descriptive details and the amount of seriousness he sounded as he wrote. They all ended on how much he loved her and wanted her.

Finally, after a shit load of ranting on how terrible and jealous he was of me and Mattheo and how blind Y/n was, I went back to that page.

There have been rumors on how Y/n and her family have been blessed. Apparently, nothing but luck and fortune runs in her bloodline. Anything she likes affects others. More importantly, whoever side she's on, they have a guaranteed pass to victory.

If I get Y/n to agree with my ways of thinking and saving the wizarding world, we will win the war for sure. There will be a hundred percent success. The only problem is, this is just a rumor.

I could test it out on her, but I won't risk her for anything. Luckily, she's not the only one in her bloodline who's still alive.

Today is the day. My followers will attempt to perform a robbery scheme. They will take an entire building down and set many traps. If Y/n's parents make it out of this alive, the rumors are true. They have been blessed by the goddess Nyx. If not, they will make a full recovery someday. They are not allowed to kill her parents or tamper with the experience in any other way than the one discussed.

It's failed. Even worse, Mattheo has taken this chance to get closer to her. It's funny seeing the jealousy radiating off of Draco. But that wasn't the goal. My followers have failed me and they will pay for that.

I can't stand it anymore. The only option I have left is to make her queen. I have so much control next year, it won't be hard. She will be mine, no matter who I have to manipulate.

Her parents are now in the hospital. They didn't get hurt due to the traps or the building. They were impaled through the heart. Both of them. One of my followers spelled knives to follow them around until they've stabbed them.

His reasoning was her parents were great wizards and if he hadn't had done that, they would all be dead.

Her parents are now on life support but it's not my fault. Michael will pay for this with his family.'

I closed the book.

What. Was that. What did I just read? Tom got Y/n's parents killed. Him. What?

Y/n has to know.
