Y/N Y/L/N POV

I sat at the breakfast table at Malfoy Manor. I've spent some of the summer break with the Malfoys' since my parents were collateral damage to some robbing scheme. They're now in the hospital on life support.

"Good morning love," his charming voice came from behind me.

My smile returned and I fixed my slouched posture. Draco Malfoy, my best friend.

"Good morning." I smiled.

Draco smiled, walked over to me, and embraced me into a hug. I took in a huge whiff of his cologne as he wrapped his arms tighter around my waist.

"Hungry?" He hummed into my ear.

"Oh, it's ok. I can just eat at the school." I replied.

"Really? Why eat from that dumpster when you can eat luxuriously and whatever you want from the Manor?" He boasted.

I giggled and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Draco.." I dragged out.

"Ok, ok, fine. I guess the school isn't that bad." He huffed as he pulled away from the hug.

"Ok, if it makes you feel better, I'll take an apple to go." I compromised.

Draco smiled and strolled his way to a fruit basket on the counter. He picked up two apples. A red one and a green one. He pulled out his wand and flicked it at the apples, commanding them to float over to a nearby sink and begin to wash themselves.

After that, the red one floated over to me while Draco kept the green one. Draco pressed his lips on his apple while continuing to stare at me. He looked me up and down and winked before beginning to bite.

Butterflies bloomed in my stomach and I tried my hardest to not turn red. I was wearing a black strapped crop top with his worn-out sweatpants. My legs crossed in front of me while I sat on one of those circled wooden chairs. Draco was taller than me by a lot and many of his 6th-year clothes fit me perfectly.

Sure Draco was my best friend, but it's an understatement to say we weren't always teasing each other. We both took pleasure in making the other flustered, mad, or even jealous.

I scoffed and looked away.

"Whatever, I'm going to go finish packing my stuff. We're leaving in a few minutes anyway." I sighed.

I could hear him laugh from behind, so I just walked faster up to my room.

-

Narcissa Malfoy and Lucius Malfoy were away for now. They never seemed to be home these days. Draco and I didn't mind. We enjoyed trashing the entire house and throwing parties every weekend. Those were actually Draco's ideas. I can safely say I am the responsible one in our friendship.

"Y/n! Come on. It's time to go." Draco yelled from downstairs.

I looked around my room for my suitcases. I grabbed my wand and waved it at them. They started to float and follow my way down the stairs.

"Ok, ok. I'm here." I cooed.

Draco was at the front entrance, in his all-black suit and peering outside. How could someone make majestic and dangerous look so good? It was early morning. Seventh years and eighth years are required to arrive at school before anyone else. We were supposed to help set up the tables and help with the attendance.
