Y/N Y/L/N POV

I got a bottle of water to hydrate myself down at the cafeteria and apparated outside the hospital.

I walked in and asked the lady at the desk where their room was again.

"Oh, Draco Malfoy, Mattheo Riddle, Astoria Greengrass, etc? You just missed them." The lady answered.

"What?"

"Yea, they just left not long ago." She spoke.

"Oh, ok. Thanks." I smiled and exited the hospital.

I looked around the place and saw it.

The death fairy sitting on a bench with a grin on her face. She was staring at nothing and I don't think anyone else could also see her. If they did, they would be bringing her to the psych ward. She sat by the shade and that was all I could take. Nope, I am not going to do this right now, that bitch is not going to haunt me. Her hair was a mess and her dress was more ripped.

I looked around for a way past her when suddenly when I looked back, she was gone. Fuck!

Maybe my friends were still close. The person at the desk did say that they left not long ago.

I ran through the place and around the building. There were a lot of people that night so things were a lot harder. I constantly kept an eye out for the death fairy as well.

An echo of a giggle started in my head, No, no, no, no, NO!

My legs started to move faster, thinking I could outrun this.

"Please just fuck off," I begged.

"Did you miss meee?" Her laugh came as well.

Maybe I should just ignore it.

"You can't defeat me, after all, you're all alone." It started. "It's helpless. May as well give into me."

"What do you want for me?" I whispered under my breath.

"Only to show you the truth, what else?" It cooed.

"Oh, I don't know, my soul?" I scoffed.

It started to laugh again as I finished an entire walk around the hospital. My friends aren't here anymore, so was the limo.

Well, my guess, they are on their way back to the hotel.

"What do you want to know?" It asked.

"I don't want to know anything, I just want you to leave me alone," I muttered.

"You know what I think? I think you know your friends are liars, but after everything you've done to protect them, you don't want to lose them. You've given yourself for their safety and to think that they would betray you..." it went on.

I stopped in my tracks.

"You're wrong." I spat.

"Am I? Prove it to me then." It teased in its usual demonic tone.

"I don't have to prove anything to you." I rolled my eyes. "I don't need your lies."

The fairy burst into cracked laughter. It rang through my head, giving me a headache.

"Alright, I'll show you then." And with that, the voice trailed off.

Shit, it's going after them.

I focus my mind and apparated to the hotel. I opened them to laughter across the room. Everyone was already back and had opened their gifts.

"Hey! Y/n!" A girl's voice called out.

Astoria.

She ran up to me and pulled me into a deep hug. I hugged her back and everyone seemed perfectly healthy.

"Hey Tom, your girlfriends safe. She's right here." Mattheo yelled across the room.

Soon, everyone was walking over to me, greeting me. The room was lively but I couldn't focus on anything.

"Y/n," his voice called out.

I turned around into Tom's hard chest, then strong arms being wrapped around me.

"Oh, hello love," I mumbled out into his chest.

My heart melted as I took in his scent. Tom pulled me off him, grabbed my jaw, and crashed our lips together. He pulled me up against him as my arms pulled him closer as well.

I could hear the others start to disband around us. But I didn't care.

"I missed you so much, little one." He spoke to my lips.

I smiled and hugged him tighter. It's good the death fairy didn't do anything to them.

Tom let me go but I held onto his hand as we went back to our bed.

"Wow." Draco let out as he laid eyes on the big box full of rows of dolls, a car, and other toys.

The group rushed over to also look.

"Damn Draco. Share?" Lorenzo asked.

"What? No. They're mine." He let out while looking me in the eye. "I actually love this."

"Oh, come on, you have so many now," Lorenzo whined.

"Yea Draco, gimme some too." Theodore joined. "All we got was good, no offense Y/n."

"None taken." I smiled.

Astoria pushed her hand past them and pointed to a doll.

"Hey look Draco, it's you." She joked.

"Shut up." He replied.

Draco opened the box and removed the plastic covering. Oh, that reminds me. I reached into my pocket and pulled out Draco's muggle credit card.

"Here," I said and handed it to him.

He took it back from me and thanked me.

"Thanks, Y/n," Blaise began.

"Yea, thanks for mine too." Astoria joined.

They ended up all thanking me. Tom said he loved the new diary I got, but he still very much preferred his old one. Even Lola thanked me for the new makeup. Mattheo was happy with the stickers and was skeptical about the candle. Blaise already started his DIY kit and said he was curious how Muggles made the things.

I think this was a win. Tom kept holding and kissing me and the room was filled with laughter. No death fairy insight.

Spoke too soon.

I looked at Tom's new book and there were already words in it. Not Tom's words.

'Return to that restaurant, or else.'

Suddenly, as I finished reading it, the words disappeared. The bathroom door flung open, capturing our attention.

"Um, that's weird." Mattheo let out.

Fuck.

"Hey," I began, "Dinner? Anybody?"
