Five days passed since the scene in the rain, before filming could be continued. The weather had maintained its miserable, malevolent nature, continuing to pour from the heavens for days. After these days had ended, as if by some miracle, a beautiful day emerged. The sun shone radiantly in the sky and the cerulean sky was bright and cloudless. The transition between both extremes of the weather was traditional British climate.

The final few scenes were scheduled to be filmed at the Paramount Motel. The crew had booked every single room, ensuring that the venue was absolutely empty sans them. Lola was amazed at how much money had been spent on just one video.

The day's main focus had been on Matt and Iris's 'secondary' love story. A few scenes had been filmed in one of the bedrooms. Lola had spent most of the time chatting to Becky and Alex, but what she had seen was enough for her. Seeing handcuffs out on the set, along with other assortments of whips and costumes, was enough to shut down Lola's curiosity.

The entire situation had made Lola grateful for the scene she had filmed with Alex. She had disliked it at the time, but it seemed a lot worse for Matt and Iris. Well, despite evidently disliking each other's presence, Matt and Iris didn't seem to mind what scenes they had been asked to perform for the video. In fact, they seemed quite willing to do so.

As time progressed into the afternoon, filming of Matt and Iris ceased and the focus was placed once more on Lola and Alex. The group gathered outside around a pool to discuss the final scene that needed to be filmed.

"This scene won't actually involve any swimming," Thomas told the group. "Alex, you'll be on this side of the pool. You'll be shirtless and training with some weights, ok?"

Despite Alex's agreement, Lola couldn't help her scepticism. She turned and whispered into Alex's ear, "Sorry, what's the artistic concept behind this scene? You want to take your shirt off and show off how ripped you are?"

Smiling teasingly, Alex whispered back, "You know you want to see me take my top off. I can see it in your eyes."

"Oh, piss off."

Unaware of the conversation that had just happened, Thomas continued, "Lola, you'll be on the other side of the pool in a bikini. Just lay on a deckchair and admire Alex."

"My pleasure," she mumbled sarcastically.

Not hearing this retort - genuinely or deliberately, Lola did not know - Thomas ignored her and continued to dismiss everybody for lunch, announcing that it was nearing midday. He was met with loud murmur of assent and the entire crew dispersed to go eat.

Once almost everybody had deserted the filming site, guided by their grumbling stomachs, Alex approached Lola, asking if she wanted to go for lunch with him and the band, but she politely turned down the offer, stating that she wasn't particularly hungry. Alex offered to stay with her, but under Lola's encouragement to join the rest of the lads, he gave in to her request.
