Where Do We Stand?

Sorry this update took a bit. School is kicking my ass. Hope you enjoy. As always please leave a comment or message me if you like it or have any recommendations on stuff to incorporate.

It's been just over a month since Ally and I started seeing each other. We still haven't put labels on anything, I'm just enjoying staying in the moment and figuring it out with her by my side. We've been on a few dates since our last one. We can really only do weekends that way our kids don't suspect anything. Speaking of, we've also had a few play dates with them too. Ally and I just can't be together fully like we'd like to while they are around. Our families seem to blend effortlessly and it's very refreshing to experience such easy happiness. Matt always made it seem like a chore to be around his family. Ally goes out of her way to be with us.

Today is Friday so Ally and I set up sleepovers for our kids to have the night to ourselves. We're going to the drive in and I'm pretty excited. I'm seeing Ally in an hour so I'm off to get ready now. I just decided on some leggings and a t-shirt that way I'm comfortable. I packed some fluffy blankets and snacks. I left my hair down in its natural waves and had some light makeup. I walk downstairs and grab my purse, phone, keys and make my way to Ally's house.

I knocked at the door and heard some shuffling and then the door opened to Ally standing there with a bright smile on her face, reflected from the moonlight. "Wow.. you were right Ms. Mayfair-Richards." (I refer to the first date we had when Ally said the same thing to me). Ally looks up at me confused. "I'm often right but what about Ms. Y/L/N/?" I have a sly grin on my face. "Coming to the door is worth it. You're stunning." I wink and Ally looks down but I already caught the red tint that coated her cheeks. "Thank you sweetheart, you're gorgeous as always." I lean in to give Ally a quick kiss then we go to my car.

We pull into the theatre and I park. We get out of the seats and I pop the trunk so we can have more space in my big SUV. We have fluffy blankets and snacks all around us. At first we sat beside one another with blankets wrapped around us. I lean my head on Ally's shoulder and we sit peacefully. Later we both decide to lie down on our stomachs with our elbows propped up to support ourselves. Ally uses her cold hand to go under my shirt and rub up and down my back. She begins going lower, getting dangerously close to my ass. I look over to her but she's staring intently at the film. I guess it's in my head.

Later in the film Ally still has her hand 'innocently' under my shirt on my back. She's ghosting her fingers over my ass more frequently now and I look at her again. She has a smirk on her face but I can tell she's trying not to let her lips move in the slight-upward position they are currently in. I lean into her, letting my lips ghost over her ear "I really was enjoying this movie, but I've become rather distracted." Ally laughs and finally touches me, really touches me, and squeezes me ass "Oh really, anything I can help with?" I smirk. "Actually it's something only you can help with." Ally laughs. I get on top of her and push her down so she's completely lying down on her back. I begin kissing her, remembering to be quiet although there's not many cars in this drive in and all of them are really far apart. Plus the movie is loud. Ally puts her cold hands on my waist and moves her knee to rest between my legs, hitting my centre. "Oh god." I mumble between kisses. I move to kiss Ally's neck and she begins kneading my ass. I begin grinding down on her knee and let out a couple moans.

When I begin to get louder, Ally kisses me to catch my noises. Unfortunately, the movie finishes before Ally or myself gets a chance to.

Cars begin clearing out so I get off of Ally. I look disappointed but Ally takes my hand to help me out of the trunk and says "Hmm I don't think I got to finish helping you with that problem. Do you want to come back to mine?"

Ally and I had a wonderful night at her place. I woke up tangled in Allys legs, with her thigh in between mine. Her arm was draped over my naked torso and I looked up to Ally and smiled realizing she was already awake and waiting for me. "Good Morning" I say with my raspy voice. She smiles. "It is a good morning, isn't it?" Ally kisses me for a few minutes and we then get up. She lets me borrow some clothes and we make our way downstairs for some breakfast. This was the usual routine after we would spend the night together. Then we'd leave and get our kids and go back home.

Ally made some eggs and toast with some cut up fruit. We sat at the kitchen island beside one another. We never speak too much in the mornings, honestly both of us are always exhausted from the night before (wink). I'm staring at my plate, eating when Ally clears her throat grabbing some of my attention. "Hey, Y/N? Can I ask you something?" Without question I say "Of course, everything alright?" Ally grabs my hand "More than alright. You are so wonderful and I really enjoy spending time with you." I smile. "I feel the same." Ally nods. "Right. Good. Well I was just wondering where we stand? I know it's only been a couple months but I really like you and I don't know, I just wanted to see if we were on the same page?" I squeeze her hand. "Of course, I really like you too. And I really want to see where this goes. I'm committed to this." Ally smiles. "Would you want to finally put a label on it? Be my girlfriend?" I lean in to kiss her on the lips then pull away "I'd love it."

We continue eating while Ally has her hand on my exposed thigh. I realize I don't know exactly what this will entail. I know being girlfriends will mean we're exclusive, but I don't feel ready to tell my kids I'm dating. It's way too early and they both know Ally and really like her already. I don't want them getting overly attached when they find out, as it might not work out.

I look at Ally. "Um Ally?" She looks up and meets my eyes. "Yeah?" "I was just wondering if we can maybe not tell the kids? I'm not sure where you stand but I know how much my boys like you and I just feel if we tell them they will get super excited because of how great you are, but I just don't want them getting too attached... Just not yet.'' Ally nods. "I completely understand that's fine sweetheart." I let out a breath I honestly didn't realize I was holding in. "Okay great, I'm glad we're on the same page." She smiles.

After breakfast we both leave the house to pick up our kids. I return home and start my day getting back into routine.
