It Was All In My Head

Ahh so sorry this update took a while. It's not even that good I just wanted to publish something finally oops. Like I said in my Diane and Xandra story (if you haven't read it plz do), I've been really busy with school and my cat went missing so it's been a bit stressful trying to try to find her. But anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter. I haven't given up on this story so still expect updates. If there's anything you wanna see in this story comment or message me. I really need ideas lol (nothing is really off the table so sent them in!)

I pull away from our kiss and open my eyes to see Ally's tear stained face. I gently swipe at Ally's tears with the pads of my thumbs. Her eyes are still closed and she smiles. I place my hands on the back of her neck, hers are still placed on my waist. I rest my forehead on hers "it was all in my head, I'm sorry." I can feel Ally shake her head "no, I should have told you right away, I'm-" I cut her off with another kiss and mumble against her lips between kisses "don't apologize."

We continue kissing, she lets me set the pace. I kiss her gently and slowly, savouring this feeling and the warm taste of her lips. I begin picking up the pace and Ally follows suit. She moves her hands lower, beginning to knead my ass and I moan into her mouth. I lift my leg to wrap around Ally's frame and she holds onto it, allowing me to do the same with my other leg, to be fully supported by Ally.

I move to kiss her neck while she begins moving us upstairs.

Ally comes up from between my legs and kisses me, mumbling against my lips "I love you." I smile and turn us around so I'm now straddling her waist "I love you." I notice Ally's cheeks turn a shade of pink and I smile. I move off of her and look at the clock. We have about a half hour before we need to get the kids from school. I lie down beside Ally, placing my head on her chest, listening to her heart beat. She intertwines our legs and runs her fingers through my hair.

We stayed in comfortable silence for a while before I looked up to Ally and spoke "Hey, I was thinking maybe you and Oz would want to come to the pool today? That way we can all sit down together and explain this situation, answer any questions they might have?" Ally nods her head and kisses my forehead "I think that would be great, thank you sweetheart."

After a few more minutes we get dressed and head to the school. We agreed they would go home and change and come over straight away. I'm driving back with Gabriel and Bellamy who are very excited to see Oz. We get inside and I quickly clean up the few misplaced items in my house. I sent the boys upstairs to get dressed and I cut up some orange slices for the kids and get a few granola bars for them too with some juice. I place it all on the table right before I hear a familiar knock on the door.

I open it and Oz rushes in and gives me a hug, wrapping his arms around my legs "Y/N!!" I laugh and run my fingers through his curly blonde locks "Hi buddy!!" Gabriel runs up from behind me to hug Ally, followed by Bellamy. "Okay come on guys there's snacks on the table." Everyone rushes over leaving Ally and I at the door. I hug her and she greets me "Hi baby." I let out a breath "Hey." Ally could sense my nervousness but immediately reassured me "don't worry everything's gonna be fine, the two boys already know." I nod and break away from the hug "right. I know. Don't worry I still wanna do this, I'm just not sure how to start the conversation." Ally nods and takes my hand in hers, walking us to the dining room "I'm right here."

We sit at the dining room side by side. Our table has a bench on one side, so the boys all sat on the bench together leaving Aly and I across from them on the chairs. She continues holding my hand, giving it gentle squeezes here and there.

The boys keep talking and eating but Ally helps me break the silence. We did agree we would talk first then go to the pool. "Hey guys, Y/N and I need to talk to you about something. Oz and Gabriel know a bit about it". Ally looks to Bellamy "Bellamy I know you don't really, so we wanna all talk. And if any of you guys have questions we're right here and can discuss them together." Ally looks at me and I nod.

"Right, so Oz went to Ally and asked if Ally and I like each other. Well we really do... In a romantic way. We started dating as well. We wanted to know how you guys felt about that?" Ally squeezes my hand for some more needed reassurance. Gabriel is first to speak "I loveeee it. Ms. Ally is so nice and she makes you so happy mom." I can feel tears welling in my eyes, hoping they go unnoticed, but as I look at Gabriel I can see Ally looking to me from the corner of my eye, smiling. What I don't notice is Ally has her own tears  in her eyes. Gabriel continues "Plus I get to see Oz more." I laugh at that last part, my voice cracks a bit from holding back tears that are threatening to fall "ha, I guess that's true." I look at Oz "I really like you Y/N. And I know how much my mom likes you. I think you guys are great together." He comes up to hug me, Gabriel follows his actions and hugs Ally "Thank you sweetheart" I whisper into his ear.

I look over to Bellamy. I understand he doesn't really comprehend our relationship to the same extent as the older boys but he still speaks "mommy I like Ally too. Does this mean we get to see her more?" I nod and a stray tear escapes the safe threshold of my eyes. I quickly wipe it and nod. He runs up to me to hug me "I love you mommy." I hold him tighter "I love you more." After a moment I speak again "I want you guys to be comfortable so if you have any questions, please talk to us, okay?" All of them nod. "Okay great, well I think I promised you guys some time in the pool, huh?" They all frantically nod. "Alright meet us out there, and get the pool toys from the shed." They all rush out, leaving Ally and I to have a moment. 

I wrap my arms around her frame and she speaks, running her fingers through my hair "that went so well, thank you for not running away." I look up to her and kiss her only for a moment. "It did feel better having you by my side. I love you." She rests her forehead on mine "I love you too."
