Chapter 10

Ezra P.O.V

I wake up early and get ready. I see kell and Leonis all ready as we walk together to our training place. We finale meet up with sabine and tells us we need to win. We all nodded are head agreeing. As we all lined up in our rows we were getting called out to check and they were also explaining the rules for this match blah blah blah.

The winers would get a prize but the winner winner will get the ultimate prize. What ever that was I knew though that I had to make sure that I win the whole thing I have a bad feeling if I dont win then well just got a bad feeling.

As we got ready for it to begin. We gave each other the sigh and we started...here goes nothing.

"Hey meet you guys at the top" I started heading up. To be truthful I was mad upset about the whole situation but I couldnt help but want to show off my skills to sabine.

Ya I know you want this but when I gave her the look she blew it off and started to catch up with me. I looked back to see that kell and leonis were right behind us. I smiled and yelled at them to hurry up. I saw that kell was having a little trouble I gave sabine a wave that said to go ahead and waited a bit to help him. What strange is that the fact that I went back to help him I couldnt stop thinking about the past all of the sudden I remember how not just a little while ago u started to help people have friends and how I used to be alone and yet I survived that way. But now I feel as uf that is different I have people beside me. It kinda scary I dont know what its like to have family since I lost it a long time ago because of the ... empire !

No i cant get into this deep thought now crap snap out of it. But as soon as I did I felt someones hands pust my back which caused me to fall all the way to the starting point. "What the?!" As I looked to see it wasnt kell or leonis and not sabine since she was at tge top but some other stupid kid. Ow man thaf hurt well looks like I lost. I didnt really bother to get up I just sated and laughed a little. As soon as it ended i saw sabine, leonis and kell run towards me. What up with them the seem upset I heard kell say "what now?! We were all supposed to win?" Sabine looked and said "don't worry we will figure something out but what happen back there ezra I was sure you were going to win?"

I looked at them and made a huge sigh and said "I dont really feel like it"

They looked at me confused. I just smiled and said "you guys should just go without me since you will be fine plus im not really cut out for this whole friend and family stuff I look out for me ... and me alone". I tried to blow it off like I didnt really want to but I was lying to myself to be truthful I just think I didnt want to be hurt or something. Ahhh I probably still could be a way for me to go with them but why bother the empire probably doesnt want to get ride if me if they kept me around this long.

They looked at me but after a while sabine stood up and sniled and said "I guess this is goodbye see ya around?"

I smiled and put out my hand to shake it and sabine shook it "ya what ever" I said sarcastically.

As soon as I got up I wved goodbye and headed toward the doctors office I mean I did fall from pretty far nothin you can do though. As u walked in I waited for the doctor to show up but that would hhave been a while cause I started hearing the explosion and people shouting above me about rebellion. I smiled and said must be going well I guess that will be the last I see sabine, kell and leonis. I laid back down I hope they make it out off hear ... nah Im sure they will.
