She looked me dead in my eyes, and pulled Amber into a hug, whispering something low into her ears all while keeping eye contact with me. Amber pushed her away with a shudder, and turned towards me, making my perk my eyebrow back up in confusion.
Without another word, the girl began walking towards the barrier, not sparing us another glance as she left and the door corked back up in its position.
"She's gone," Danny whimpered, before stalking back into the barracks.
"Oh we so got to talk," I growled, and Amber shuddered in fear, but I don't care.
She forced that girl away when she had nowhere to go.
She was acting like a bully.
~~~~I jumped up, groaning as I slowly laid my head back down from the pain of going against my raging headache. I looked around the room of maps, seeing the three bullies were nowhere around. I just laid there for a while, trying to get my headache to ease, but it was not calming down whatsoever. I groaned again, rubbing my temples as I slowly sat back up again.
I looked around once more, and walked out, not even wanting to call out for them.
That makes me feel like I need them, and I need no one.
I was immediately greeted with the sight of Evelyn and her Umbrahag friend from earlier playing with some kids, and I found the sight, enticing.
I approached them, everyone that was playing halted when recognizing my presence, and Evelyn was the first to greet me. She jumped up and down, having the whole ground to shake underneath my feet, before she licked my all over my face. I giggled at the interaction, feeling so much love that I usually never receive.
"Okay okay!" I exclaimed, and she smiled, brushing her nose against mines, "You're so friendly girl," I murmured and she growled in short intimidation. "Oh come on girl, I know how big of a sweetheart you are," I said, and she growled again, licking me one more time, before stepping back.
"Who are you?" a small tan boy asked, looking up at me.
"I'm a ghost," I smirked, and his eyebrow cocked up in confusion. "What are you guys playing?" I asked, dismissing the question completely.
"We're playing run around," another child says, and I raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"All we do is run around!" another exclaimed, and I chuckled, throwing my hands on my hips.
"How about this?" I asked, "Have you ever heard of a game called tag?" I asked, and they all shook their heads. "One person is it, you have to run away from them, but if that person catch you, you then have to catch someone else to stop being it," I explained, and they all nodded with smiles.
"Let's play! I'll be it, I'll be it!" a little girl with pigtails jumped, and we all shrugged at her excitement.
"Go!" I yelled, and we all began our game of tag. I smiled as I'm running around with the kids and the two huge Umbrahags, I'm actually having fun right now, it's weird though. I'm a legal adult, having fun, playing with kids...
Who aren't mine...
I feel like a pedo.
I felt a negative aura around me, and it made me pause in my tracks, abruptly turning around to have Amber bump into me.
"Hi Amber," I said, putting on my blank face again.
"Don't hi me bitch," Amber spat, stepping back from me, "Who told you can just come out here and socialize with everyone?" she asked, pointing a finger in my face. I looked at the finger, disgust flashing in my eyes, before I looked back at her.
