"Well, well, well," I said, stepping into the light.

"If it isn't my best friend Amber," I said, and everyone's head turned towards me in shock.

But in Amber's case, anger.

~~~~
"I'm no where near your best friend," Amber seethed, and I shrugged, folding my arms over my shielded chest.
"Baby the fact that you can't keep my name out of your mouth proves that you love me so much," I said. "It's honestly cute that I'm receiving love from a spiteful ass hater,"
"Watch your mouth," she said, and I rolled my eyes.
"Make me," I smirked, knowing damn well she won't be able to throw a successful punch, "You see Amber, Danny isn't the only one tired of your useless attempts of attacking me verbally." I said, stalking towards her, "If you wanted my attention baby girl you got it," I said, fingering one of her loose curls before pulling it behind her ear.
"Don't you fucking touch me," she said, and swung to smack my hand away but I just moved back.
"I think it's funny that you're so bent on making me leave," I started, walking around the kitchen, "We're set on the same end goal Amber, I want to leave too, it's not like I'm begging you guys to fucking stay," I yelled, turning my gaze towards her again, "God! I'm so sick and tired of you and your incompetent bitchiness! I don't like you neither, but if you continue to fucking pull bitch ass stunts like talking about me behind my back like a fucking middle schooler, I will stay even longer. I will make friends here, and I will plant so many roots you'll go crazy about how much people here adores me." I threatened, and her gaze faltered. "I honestly don't want to be here any longer than you want me to, but so help me God I will see to it that you fall while I am here,"
The room fell so silent a pin drop could be heard from outside.
On a bed of grass.
"Fine," was the only word to leave Amber's mouth, "You win, for now," she said, and walked out of the house.
The room fell back silent, but it was short lived as Danny ran towards me with a huge smile on his face, "You put her in her place! Finally!" he exclaimed, spinning me around by my waist.
"Really Danny?" Chief asked, and Danny put me back on the ground.
"What you know personally she deserved everything Angst gave to her, and honestly in my opinion she should've gotten more." Danny shrugged, "I love Amber, and I always will because she's like a sister to me. But her behavior has been unacceptable."
"I'm not scolding  you," Chief said, walking towards the both of us, "I actually wanted to praise you too," he smiled, and patted me on my naked shoulder, my skin grazing goosebumps with contact. "But Danny you should've waited until about a minute to be sure she was out of hearing range," he said, turning his attention towards Danny with a sly smirk on his lips.
"Oh boo hoo, she's a big girl, she can handle it if for once I'm not on her side," Danny waved, and I rolled my eyes, shrugging Chief's lingering hand off of my now bumpy skin.
"You guys are ridiculous," I said, turning around to head towards the room. "But Danny?" I asked, looking over my shoulder slightly to see the two boys, "Thank you for defending me," I said, and quickly walked away.
I closed the bedroom door behind me, and took in a deep breath.
What the fuck was that?
The same thing happened when Chief 'saved' me that day at the lake, and I do not like that shit.
