"Somebody's chasing after us," I said, and right on cue a bunch of arrows started to speed past us. "Go tell everyone at the camp to border up. Go," I said, and pushed him away from me. I made a beeline to the lake, wanting to get them as far away from Danny and the base as I could. And the way I've been having to massage my feet from the long walks back and forth, I know he'll have a good chance to get everyone to safety.
Once I get to the lakefront, I immediately see the teeny version of Parker, and halted in my tracks.
"Bredite. Bredite come here. Safety," he whispered, and I shook my head.
I turned around to see a shooter pointing an arrow at my head.
It looks like I'm going to have to fight my way out of this again.
I really hope Danny got to the camp safely.

Chief's POV
"EVERYBODY MOVE TO THE BACK!" Danny yelled, running onto the base. I took a rushed look of his features. It was just scratches everywhere and tiny splotches of blood, but nothing major.
"What's going on?" Amber asked, stepping up to him.
"I'll explain it later, just help me get everyone to the back weapon proofed center," he said, guiding the line of scared villagers into the huge center that is bullet proof, bomb proof, hell, even Umbrahag proof.
Every officer and soldier on the other hand was gearing up in the barracks' weaponary block.
"Danny what happened?" I asked as we're putting on our armour.
"I swear to the God of Peace, that Angst better be safe," he murmured, before he proceeded to kick a locker. "She was the one Toby," he said, nodding his head, "If it wasn't for her hearing the Southie's attack before it happened, I would've been dead." he said, and I stepped back to take in what it is he's saying, "She's out there alone, and I'm not letting her die to save my life," he said, focusing his attention back on loading up his semi automatic.
"HOLD!" the soldiers watching the gateway yelled. Danny immediately dashed outside, and I was less than a second behind him. That was until I saw the sight of a bloodied Angst, shaking violently.
"Danny," she called, and that stopped him in his tracks as well. "They died," she sobbed, and broke down, making him run to her side, and bury her entire body into his. "They had to die so I could live," she sobbed, and Danny nodded, running his hand along the nape of her hair, attempting to calm her down.
He hushed her cries, rocking the both of them to soothe her, and I turned to see Amber's glare set on Angst and Danny hugging.
"Now is not the time," I said, and she looked up at me, nodding before turning away.

"You alright bro?" I asked Danny. It's been two hours since that whole situation went down, and Danny being the saint he is, managed to calm Angst down, got her into a shower, and tucked her into his bed for her to go to sleep.
"Yeah," he nodded, and sighed, rotating his neck to release some pent up tension. "It was just hard to see her go through that," he said, going into his fridge to grab a bottle of water.
"What happened?" I asked.
He sighed, running a hand through his disheveled tuft, "I went to go in the forest, and of course I found her. She was standing inside of crashed aircraft and when I called her she immediately pulled me in. After some talking, we were ready to go back when she suddenly stopped and dragged me into running back here. She pushed me to get you guys safe, and ran the opposite way, then she showed up like that," he said.
