Chapter Thirteen

I get up and walk towards the table I was originally eating lunch at to find Naomi and Aidan in what seemed like a deep conversation about Naomi running into a door.

"I'm not even kidding I smacked right into the door!" Naomi exclaimed getting a response of hysterical laughs from Aidan. I grab Naomi's arm.

"We'll be back," I say bringing her with me.

"But I-"

"Have to pee yeah we'll be back," once we get to the bathroom I turn to her and wiggle my eyebrows.

"What? I was telling a story and getting laughs," Naomi says dreamily

"I know! And getting it!" I exclaim

"I don't know what you're talking about," Naomi says looking down.

"I can hook you up bro bestfriends and our boyfriends are best friends duuuude,"

"Not if we leave them out there," she says turning towards the door.

"Dude chill Aidan needs a second to tell Ace how hot you are," I say smirking at her and she rolls her eyes and walks out. As we were walking over Aidan hits Ace's arm trying to get him to stop talking. Ace turns around.

"What you don't want Naomi to hear that you were talking about how hot she is?" Ace says smirking at Aidan and he's cheeks burn with embarrassment and anger.

"I told you so!" I exclaim hitting Naomi's arm.

"What do you have boyfriend girlfriend telepathy?" Naomi asks looking at both of us.

"Umm yes.." We both say at the same time.

"Whoa"

"Ok you can stop now,"

"You guys are freaks," Aidan and Naomi said at the same time.

"No," Naomi said looking at him. "We can't turn into one of them,"

We end up hanging out at Naomi's house. Ace and I are sitting on the love seat and Aidan and Naomi are on the floor because Naomi fell down there and Aidan went to see if she was ok and they just kind of stayed there. We decide to play a game of truth or dare. Ace whispered something to me about Aidan and Naomi and basically he had a plan to hook them up. Because Aidan always picks dare.

"Truth or dare?" Ace asked waiting for Aidan to answer already knowing his response.

"Dare," he replies without thinking twice.

"Ok I dare you to..." Ace pauses acting like he's thinking even though he already knew what to say, " I dare you to kiss Naomi," he says with a smirk looking over at Naomi as Aidan's cheeks get red. Naomi freezes considering she never picks dare so she doesn't know what's going to happen.

"That's cheating," Aidan says looking at me wanting me to tell Ace he's wrong.

"I think he's definitely playing by the rules," I say not giving in.

"I think it's cheating," Naomi chimes in finally saying something.

"You don't count," Ace and I both say together. Again. This is getting weird.

"Aidan Johnson has never backed out a dare that would ruin your reputation," Ace says trying to get Aidan on board.

"I don't want to just kiss her. Like if she doesn't want to kiss me I can't just go and kiss her. That's wrong," Aidan says. Ok that was cute.

"I mean I don't want to ruin your reputation....." Naomi trails off. Then Aidan just leans over and kisses her. That was unexpected. Ace and I look at each other. This was definitely more than a dare kiss.

"Hey Ace do you want a drink," I say obviously motioning him to come with me.

"Uh yeah really thirsty," he says so awkwardly.

"Only because you've been sitting next to me," I smirk as we walk into the kitchen.

"Ok I know we were trying to hook them up but I didn't actually think I'd see my best friend practically having a make out sesh. And she got all bent out of shape when you and I kissed for the first time," I say leaning against the counter.

"What can I say I'm a fantastic match maker," Ace announces proudly. "Call us back in there when you're dating!" Ace yells towards the living room.

AIDANS POV

So I've had this crush on Naomi but I didn't think I'd actually kiss her. So soon anyway. Once we kiss my body goes tingly and all my thoughts are jumbled. I hear Ace and Alani say something but I ignore it. As we pull away Naomi looks into my eyes and I gaze into hers. For a moment it's silent until we hear Ace yell "Call us back in when you're dating!"

"What are we going to tell them?" I ask

"That that was absolutely disgusting and I never want to see you again," she says and my heart sinks to my stomach.

"I'm kidding. That was great tell them what you want I'm hungry," she says walking into the kitchen. I get up to follow her.

ALANIS POV

"Hey love birds," I say as Aidan walks in behind Naomi.

"Welcome to the club," Ace says putting his arm around me.

"Club? Oh I'm good at clubs. I did omun which is like a club and swim team that's not a club but that's fun I love swim I Ummm-" Naomi's cut off by Aidan.

"Thanks bro," Aidan says putting his arm around Naomi.

"Rude," Naomi responds but moves closer to him.

"You know I love your babbling," Aidan says looking down at Naomi.

"You better," she says playfully hitting his chest.

"Ah the sweet sent of young love," Ace says dramatically acting like he's sniffing something.

"You are literally the biggest dork I know," I laugh laying my head on his shoulder. He pulls me in a snug side hug and us two couples stand there having conversations and a good laugh.

"And when you two are married you can tell your kids their aunt Alani and uncle Ace are the best match makers," I say laughing as I look up at Ace.
