Brooklyn New York
Miles landed on a dumpster at the crime that had just been reported. His lenses narrowed in concentration as he surveyed the scene in front of him. He counted 5 men, all stupidly trying to break into the one door with a crowbar but it seems they couldn't figure it out. Miles felt like laughing but he held it in, right now was no time for laughter, he had to help save this business.
"Dammit, I think we may need to call some other guys, we can't get this door open, " One of the guys with a strong southern Italian accent said to his group. The others stopped what they were doing and looked at him.
"Yeah Toni, you might be right, the boss won't be happy with no score tonight. Let's call some more guys and tell them to bring the ram, if all else fails we break the door down and make a run for it after we get our shit. " Said who Miles thought was the leader.
"What about the cops? I am pretty sure we are fairly obvious." said the same one who suggested they get more guys.
"Yeah I know, well tell our guys to get here quick and we will get this over with. " The leader took the crowbar and started to try to open the door again. not even noticing as Miles slowly started to creep up on his group. The guy who pulled out his phone was taken out by Miles silently, webs were covering his mouth and he was hung up from above on a fire escape.
"Hey guys, how are you all doing tonight? Bit chilly don't you think?" The guys turned to the voice and their facial expressions changed.
"Who are you?" One of the guys asked as he reached into his pocket, removing a small knife from it. Miles saw this and quickly fired a web ball hitting the knife and forcing his hand to get stuck to the wall he was standing near.
"I think that little demonstration answered your question. " Miles cracked his fingers and smirked slightly, "Who is ready for that beating you all have penciled in for right now?" One of the guys threw what looked to be a rock at Miles. He quickly reacted by jumping out of the way and catching it in his web. He swung it around above his head and sent it flying back at the guy, hitting him in the stomach and forcing him to fall over. This only left 2, the leader who was still clutching the crowbar, a scowl etched on his face and a terrified thug. Miles turned his attention to the scared thug and drew closer slightly, this was too much for the terrified man and he ran out of the alley screaming. The leader watched his man leave and just sighed. He got onto his knees and put his hands behind his head as Miles webbed them together. Miles crouched in front of the man who had a suspicious smirk on his face.
"Big mistake kid, we know you are not the real Spider-Man. Just you wait, my boss will want to talk to you soon. He has already had problems with the other bug, you will be dead before the year is out. "
"Big threats coming from a guy who will be in jail by nights end, who do you work for anyway?" Miles watched as the man began to laugh.
"My boss has so much power, we won't be in jail for long kid. I can't wait until we meet again. " The smirk returned to the leader's face, as the cops slowly approached the alley.
"Hands up!" One of them yelled while pointing their gun at Miles.
"Stand down now!" Captain Stacy yelled as he came walking into the alley. He eyed Miles strangely.
"Why are you dressed up as Spider-Man?" The Captain asked.
"Uh, I will leave that up to the other Spider-Man to tell you... Bye!" Miles launched himself from the ground and started to climb the wall rapidly. He reached the roof and turned to see the cops start to take the thugs away, the leader locked eyes with him and continued to smirk as he was led away.
