Chapter 17

Peter felt extremely dizzy after his head hit against the wall. He touched the back of his head and felt the cold blood touch his hand. He dropped his bloodied hand to his side and looked up at Venom. The problem was, Peter could see two Venom's so it wasn't gonna be fun trying to fight him. Peter went to get up but Venom's large foot smashed against his chest and held him down. Peter tried his best to catch the breath that was just knocked out of him but continued to struggle against Venom's foot.

"Ah Pete, do you really think you can beat me? I wonder if you will survive long enough to see that beautiful girlfriend of yours. She probably knows where you are since I just kicked your ass on live tv. "

Peter stared at Harry with so much hatred in his eyes. He used to love Harry as his best friend but now Harry was gone, now it was just Venom. "You are a monster Harry, I didn't do this to you. Your father was the one who turned you into this and you let him" Peter spat the last of the sentence, causing Harry to increase the pressure on his chest.

"How dare you talk about my father! You don't have any right to talk about him, you killed him." Venom raised his foot to slam it against Peter's bagged face but Peter gingerly rolled out of the way. Blood continued to pour from the wound on his head and was starting to drip down onto the floor.

"Ah good you still have a lot of fight left in you, it will make it more fun. Don't worry if the bag comes off, the cameras are not rolling anymore and I sent my live studio audience away. "

"Good, that just leaves you and I Harry, let's finish this" Peter charged at Harry and went to fire a web out of habit but realized that he didn't have his web-shooters. "

Venom laughed mockingly and swiped at Peter, ripping his pants partially with his sharp claws. Venom stopped laughing as Peter had dodged his attacks. He fired a tendril at Peter but missed again. Venom continued to swing at Peter, every time he missed.

"What's wrong Harry, can't kill the spider after all? " Peter mocked with a slight grin on his face. He looked around and saw a fire extinguisher on the wall. He didn't know if it could work but it might keep Harry distracted. Peter watched as Venom angrily charged at Peter, causing the hero to dodge out of the way again. Peter started to formulate a plan to use Venom's anger against him. Peter was now placed next to the fire extinguisher, he reached out and ripped it from the wall just in time for Venom to miss another narrow attack. Peter aimed the hose at Venom and fired the fire extinguisher, the foam-like substance got into Venom's eyes causing the creature to swipe at his eyes to clean them.

As Venom was distracted, Peter jumped up and landed on the roof. He quietly crawled across the roof and sat in a corner covered by the shadows. Venom finally wiped his eyes and looked around, he let his long tongue slip from his mouth, as if he was tasting the air around him.

"You can hide all you want. but when I find you, I am going to tear you to pieces, Peter Parker!"

Felicia & Peter's Apartment

Felicia was already in her suit, she was in the process of packing a bag for Peter so that he had his suit and web-shooters. Everyone else was in the living room, trying to finalize their plan. MJ had a very concentrated look on her face as she was formulating something in her mind.

"So how do we generate enough sound to hurt Harry if we can't get a squadron of cop cars in that building or the grounds in general" Asked Captain Stacy as he faced Miles, who also had a look of deep thought on his face but the Captain couldn't see that because of his mask.

"The speakers," MJ said out of the blue as she stood up with a grin. "We can try and get control of every speaker in that building and pump the volume to max. "
