Chapter 15

Morales Apartment

Miles was currently sat on his bed, his back against the headboard doing his homework. Miles continued to try and solve an equation in his mind, the pen he was currently holding kept on swinging between his fingers as the younger man tried to solve the problem. As Miles went to write down his answer, he was interrupted by his friend Ganke, who was typing away as he coded his game Speed Nonagon.

"Hey man, when are you going to let me play?" Asked MIles, causing Ganke to stop typing and turn in his chair to face his friend.

"When it's finished.. or when you tell me who the other Spider-Man is" Ganke joked the last part as he saw Miles's lips move upwards in a slight smile.

"Not a chance dude, I won't be telling anyone. "

"You're no fun, so did you see the news the other night? It was pretty rough seeing the other Spider-Man lose his cool on live tv. I actually thought he was going to kill that thing in the water" Said Ganke who had an unsure look on his face. He removed his glasses and started to rub his tired eyes.

Miles just looked at Ganke, stuck in his own deep thoughts of what happened that day that Pete almost killed Harry. Miles hadn't heard from Pete in a few days and it worried him. Yes, Pete did a bad thing but that wasn't who Peter truly is. Miles sighed and got up, he was going to go check on Peter.

"Yo Ganke, let my Mom know I will be back late, I need to go do some Spider-Man stuff. "

Ganke waved his hand at Miles as the teenager jumped from his window.

Oscorp Tower

Harry sat on his office chair eyeing the leader of the CRS as he gave his daily report. Harry wasn't happy with what he was hearing so far and this was evident when he slammed his hands down onto his desk, luckily he was fully human right now and didn't do anything apart from making Alastair jump beside him and have the leader of CRS stop his daily report.

"You mean to tell me that the bug hasn't left his spider web in the last few days?" Harry asked in a dangerous voice before standing up, placing his hands behind his back, and pacing in front of the huge window that overlooked Manhattan.

"No sir, we haven't found a trace of Priority Target 1 or 2. " Replied the leader who was now slightly nervous.

"Well how about you use your brain, Maguire! " Yelled Harry as he got into the leader's face. "I want you to go down to the police station and look up the address of Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy. They must have something and I want it if they do now. I want you and Garfield over there" Harry pointed at the redheaded man in swat gear by the door. "Out of my office. I want the files I need by the end of the day!"

The leader gulped slightly and nodded his head before leaving through the door with his partner. Harry watched them leave before turning to Smythe who was fidgeting in the corner.

"A storm is coming Mr. Smythe, you best be ready for it when it does. " Harry said with a slight smirk on his face.

Midtown Police Precinct

Captain Stacy sat behind his desk looking at the files that were continually getting larger as the day went. He was in the process of reading about a guy called Cletus Kasaday who was currently locked up in Ravencroft. It seems this Cletus guy was causing a lot of problems for the staff at Ravencroft and they were asking for Captain Stacy to send some officers to Westchester County to keep the peace.

"Sir? " Captain Stacy looked up to one of his officers who was talking to him.

"What do you need Officer Holland?" Asked the Captain as he put his hands behind his head to listen.
