Chapter 4: Fight! Fight! Fight!

As soon as I saw Nathan receive a punch from Aaron, everything shy about me just turned into anger. I got closer to where they were fighting. I felt everyones eyes on me.
Matt lifted his fisted hand up in the air to make another hit but before it could hit Nathan's face I pushed Matt away, he kind of lost his balance but didn't fall.
When he was standing up straight again, he lifted his fist up in the air, ready to hit me, but when he realized that it had been a girl that pushed him, that it had been me, the "nobody", standing up to the most popular jerk in school, he put his fist down, surprised.
"Move!" screamed Aaron at me, I'd never seen him so angry. But, like I always react when someone yells at me I slapped that fugly face of his. He then looked at me amazed and laughed cockily.
"Oh honey, do you really think that hurt me?" He asked feeling confident in himself. I just couldn't stand looking at that cocky and ugly ass face and even think about the fact that he had been beating up Nathan just a minute ago. So, I exploded.
"Listen here you piece of shit, you better watch where you're going 'cause next time I'll break your face into little ugly pieces" I yelled, furious. I couldn't even recognize myself, I'd never done or said something like that before. He looked at me and tensed his jaw looking behind me, at Nathan.
"Don't even think about even coming near this school again, punk. Cause next time your little girlfriend won't be there to save you." He turned around and high-fived some other douche-bag friends of his, leaving "victorious". But, I wasn't gonna let him leave feeling good about himself, not in this lifetime.
"Hey, caveman!" I yelled and he turned around and pointed at himself and said "Me?"
"Yeah, you!" I began, "the next time that you see a guy that's hotter, smarter and that doesn't need any idiotic friends to approve of him, don't hit him cause that only shows that you're a needy moron in every fucking way!"
I felt everybody's gaze on me. Matt turned around to defend his "friend" and walked towards me, only to stop when he was exactly in front of me and looking into my eyes.
"Say that again but, this time, look me in the eyes when you say it" he said threateningly.
This would be the typical moment in which I would freeze and lose my voice while looking like a complete idiot. But not this time. Now he was just another idiotic "popular" jerk.
"SCREW. YOU." I said, sounding out every single letter in each word while looking him straight in the eye.
He grinned with hatred and left, being followed by his friends and "girlfriend".
I went back to where Nathan was as he was trying to stand up. He was really hurt. His nose was bleeding and he had one black eye but, I don't think that it's anything serious, like hospital serious. The girls came close and helped me pick him up and take him to the school nurse.
When we got there they told us that only one person was allowed in to accompany Nathan and, of course, Melody was already volunteering to go in. Even before any one of us could answer she was already inside with him.
"Guess we won't be going anywhere today" said Diane sounding somewhat disappointed.
"Of course we will!" started Mae, I don't know where she's going with this, "we'll go for _______,"they all turned around to look at me. "to celebrate that she finally let out her inner tiger!" She finished. They all smiled at me.

"Gross, _______, don't do that."said Mae
We were at Starbucks. We were just Annabelle, Diane, Mae and I.
I was grabbing the whipped cream from the bottom of the cup with my straw and licking it....It's the most delicious thing in the world. "Never" I answered.
"God, you're hopeless" she said rolling her eyes. They laughed while I kept enjoying my frapuccino
"Well, I think I gotta get going, guys" said Mae.
"Okay, okay I'll stop, don't get mad" I said trying to convince her to stay.
She laughed, "I'm not leaving because of you, you're not the centre of the universe. I'm leaving 'cause I have a job interview in a daycare. It's the only way I can start saving money, it's gonna be my summer job."
"First of all," I began, "I am not the centre of the universe, I'm more like the belly button of the universe." I pointed at my belly button making an obvious face, "Second of all, we'll let you leave and third of all, good luck." I finished, smiling.
Mae laughed at my weirdness and left.

"Thanks for the ride, Anne!" I said, getting out of the car. She winked at me and left.
I'm not sure if I wanna go to school tomorrow. I don't feel like facing Aaron and Matt after what happened today. I think that I might even skip the whole week, yeah that's what I'll do. Avoiding you're problems is always the right thing to do kids! ;) *hence the sarcasm* Uggh, I don't know what I'm gonna do, I'll think about it later, now I'm hungry.
When I went inside the kitchen my mom was making pizzas, God, I really love her right now.
Waiting for the food, I sat down to watch some tv, finally I could relax without anyone bothering me.
"Why hello there lil sis!". I spoke to soon. It was my idiot brother Ashton. I was about to tell him to go away when he threw himself on top of me. How considerate. He's only 1 year older than me but, damn that boy is heavy. I pushed him off of me and he sat beside me on the couch.
"What're you watching?....wait, are you watching The Avengers? ....Again?!" He said now looking at me astonished, "you've already seen it like a billion times" he said, completely exaggerating.
"I haven't seen it THAT many times, and besides, I would stop watching it but, damn, they picked the hottest actors in the industry to play superheroes, I mean, it's not my fault they're so perfect" I answered, and it's true, no one can deny it they're all perfect. Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, I mean, can it get any hotter than that? I don't think so.
"You know they're like 20 years older than you, right?"
"Shut up, you're ruining it." I love that boy to death but he can be SO annoying sometimes. Plus, he starts talking to me in the best part of the movie, I mean, who does that? Annoying people, that's who.

The exact day I DON'T want to go to school, my friends come into my house and wake me up in the worst way possible.
I had my eyes shut having sweet dreams about Thor when suddenly I feel FREEZING water falling on my face. I opened my eyes completely shocked and frozen, I saw everything as a blur, but, I heard laughter, extremely loud laughter. When I could see clearly again, and could analyze the situation, I saw Annabelle clutching her side dying of laughter and Diane on the floor also bursting with laughter. Those evil bitches.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?!" I said, my heart still racing.
"Heeyy, chill ______, we knew you weren't gonna sack up and go to school, so, we decided to drop by and make you go." Explained Annabelle.
"And what makes you think I'm gonna go?" I said while I covered myself up with my bed covers "Besides," I continued, "you wouldn't be able to drag me out of my bed even if you transformed into Hercules." I said wanting to see what she would do.
"I knew you'd say that," she said, "first we were gonna try to convince you, nicely and calmly. But, I knew your lazy ass wouldn't get up and that's where Diane comes in." When I heard her, I immediately jumped out of bed. Diane was tiny but she was the strongest girl I knew.
"Okay, okay I'm up. You don't have to drag me to the bathroom I know where it is."
I threw on some clothes and we were out of there.
It was gonna be a long day.
