After the long and detailed story of how Melody and Nathan ended up together, we went to get some more ice cream. When I first mentioned this awesome idea, Nathan didn't want any because of his "super healthy diet" but when I threatened him that I would shove the ice cream directly down his throat or I would put him in a room with Anabelle in the morning, he couldn't say no. Yes, I might be aggressive.
Around 6, Nathan left to take a shower and get ready for the party and when he left a bunch of girls walking down the street totally checked him out. Seeing Melody go red and not do anything about it, I acted. "Yoohoo, girls!"I whaled at them, "If you want his number its 11-go fuck yourself 224. Oh and by the way, he's taken so shoo. Plus, I think he's gay." They struck me a nasty look and kept on with their business. Nathan turned around smiled and waved goodbye while the girls cried laughing.
After that, we all went to our homes to get ready and later we planned on all meeting at Diane's place. I got home with the sight of Ashton watching a romantic comedy (aka chick flic) with Calum, Luke and Michael. I could have sworn I saw a small tear streak down Michael's cheek right before he rapidly rubbed it off, trying to contain his masculinity.
"You guys really need girlfriends, like now" I told them trying to contain my laughter. All their teary eyes turned towards me as they quickly rubbed their cheeks to get rid of tears frowning. Not wanting to miss one minute of the movie, they all turned back except for Luke who was smirking.
"Okay, I'm catching your drift, _______. If your so desperate, then, fine" started Luke letting out a clearly fake sigh, "I'll be your boyfriend, come here" he said and puckered his lips closing his eyes shut. Without taking his eyes off the screen, my brother punched Luke's arm and, with a trembling voice, said, "Your ruining the moment with that bullshit, idiot" Luke laughed and turned back to the screen. "Sissies" I murmured and laughed and started upstairs. "What did you say?" said Calum impatiently having clearly heard me. "Oh, nothing." I said smiling innocently and made my way upstairs to my room.
I took a 15 minute bath, put on a robe and started to look for the perfect outfit with no success, dressing to go to parties and trying to look somewhat hot is not my area of expertise. So, after a few minutes, in act of desperation I asked the boys to help me. Their boys right? They must know what looks good, I guess. They came quickly upstairs in aid.
"Okay, so what are you going for? Sexy, elegant, cute, bad girl or like innocent?" asked Calum quite seriously.
"Well, I'm..well..." I started awkwardly, talking about boys with my brother isn't really something I was looking forward to. "I'm kinda trying to impress a guy."
"Sexy then." They all said in unison except for Ash who said "Innocent" and the other three pushed him out of the room seen as he was going to be no help. "He'll be a pain. If you look hot he'll deny it." said Michael stating the obvious. I nodded.
The boys quickly started going through my closet and taking out clothes. Meanwhile, Ash, from the other side of the door, banged his fists into the door and demanded for us to let him in. We simply put on music to shut him out.
I tried on what seemed like a thousand outfits and they were all either "too sexy", "not sexy enough", "what the hell is that?" and the list goes on. Until I tried on a little black dress that fit my figure perfectly and made me look quite nice in my opinion. They all saw it and grinned. "You look really hot, and that's not something I say very often" said Michael grinning broadly and passing his fingers through his hair. I blushed smiling and went to put on some makeup and do something to my hair.
The girls were all already arriving at Diane's judging by their texts and were all asking where I was. Calum went to get my brother trying to avoid his punches. "I introduce you to the new and improved ______ ________" said Luke cockily moving to let me into view. He looked at me and smiled to my relief.
