Hold up, what just happened? Was this guy for real? A real life manager wants to manage me? Me?! Just me?! I really hope that I'm not dreaming and about to wake up right now.
I ran over to Judie and gave her the biggest hug I could possibly give anyone. "Okay...I'm gonna pretend that this is normal..." she said, hugging me back.
"AAH! Oh my God! You have no idea what just happened!" I screamed a little too loud. I covered my face with my hands for her to not see how red with excitement my face was.
"What is it?" she asked unwillingly.
"You know the guy I just waited on?" she thought back and nodded. I continued, "Well, at first I thought that he wanted to have...you know what....with us, so, I tried to tell him that this wasn't that kind of place..." I was talking so fast that I could barely understand myself. But who cares?! I technically almost got signed with a manager. "you know, because I was like what do you want? And he was like you two. And I was all like nah-ah baby ain't nobody got time for that." I started going faster and faster, I couldn't control myself, "and he laughed, and I laughed, and he gave me his card and now I'm here!" I know, I'm a terrible explainer.
"Okay..." Judie held both my hands trying to calm me down, "Take a deep breath,....in....out....in....out" she said inhaling and exhaling with me. "Better?" I nodded, "Okay, now start again and try to get to the point we got tables to wait on."
I explained slower and calmer and went straight to the point. When I finished telling her about it she was paralyzed, like, literally didn't move. Completely shocked.
"Oh no, she's not breathing" I murmured to myself. I kind of panicked because I wanted to know her opinion so...I slapped her. And thank God she blinked and "came back to life".
"And?! What did you say?!" she asked filled with excitement.
"I told him that I wanted to talk it out with you and my parents first."
"Well, I freaking want it!" she exclaimed.
"Seriously? Awesome! So do I! But we should talk about it with our parents first." I said trying to be responsible.
"Yeah, yeah...but first, with the girls!"
We finished with our shifts and went back home. We planned on telling the girls tomorrow.

"Is she asleep?" I heard a whisper with a familiar voice.
"Yeah, all morning" another familiar voice answered.
"At what time did you get back?"
"Around 1 A.M" Yup, that was Judie.
"Why didn't you call us? You said you had some big news to tell us." And if I'm not mistaken that was Diane. Wait, what? What's Diane doing here?
"I can't tell you guys anything until _______ wakes up" whispered Judie. Wait....did she say "you guys"? There's more people here?
"And if we wake her up?" asked another familiar voice, Annabelle.
"Good morning, sunshine." said Annabelle louder so that I wake up.
"Hey,....what are you guys doing here?" I said sitting up and seeing all of the girls.
"Judie called us and said that she wanted to tell us something important. So, as naturally impatient as we are, we couldn't wait so we woke you up." explained Mae.
I was really confused until I remembered what had happened last night and I got super excited all over again.
"And because of that, you come in to my house and watch me sleep?" I asked sarcastically. They all nodded laughing.
