I woke up ready for school. It was the last day, which meant you had to be there. Everyone would be there and if you didn't go, you were never treated the same way again. I know, weird, but I guess it's one of those things that's different in each school. When the bell rang, there'd be a mini party, I guess you could call it that. Everyone would throw all their work in the air everywhere and no teacher could do anything about it. It's awesome and actually really liberating.

It was kind of like a school rule: if you don't go on the last day, might as well never come back. And if you did go back you're whole year would be a nightmare.

So, I changed and rushed downstairs. I was walking into the kitchen when suddenly..."What the.." I started confused but was interrupted by Ashton standing on the other side of the room with a terrified look on his face. He shushed me and whispered "Don't move..."

"What?..Why?" I whispered now starting to be a bit frightened as to what he was so freaked out about.

"He....he smells fear" He whispered shakily.

I took a step forward to see what he was actually talking about but was stopped by Ashton shushing me once more.

"_____, I said don't move!" he continued, being more and more scared. "He'll hear you."

Okay, now I was really curious as to what was making him so nervous. I walked forward and leaned in to see what the fuss was about.

"Oh my God, Ashton! How did that beast get in here?!" I screamed sarcastically.

"Shut up, you idiot, now he heard us!" he yelled, staring at it completely terrified. Shit, I should've filmed this .

"Fuck, he's gonna eat us now!" I screamed even louder, trying not to laugh. He struck me a frightened look, his eyes wider than I'd ever seen them. I couldn't help myself from bursting out laughing. I walked completely inside the kitchen and approached the "beast", also known as, the neighbors cat, and walked over to my brother.

"Help, Ash! He's chewing my finger off!" I said while the cat licked my finger. Oh, how I love annoying and scaring the shit out of him. He backed away as if it was going to jump on him and "attack" him. "Dude, it's the neighbor's cat, you see him every single day of your life"

He glared at me and I had a feeling that he was trying to strangle me with his eyes, it kind of looked like he trying to use "the force" on me. Fortunately, he hadn't figured out exactly how to do that yet.

"One thing is having a fence separating us and another thing is to have him in MY KITCHEN, in MY HOUSE, with absolutely nothing separating us." He exclaimed trying to get me to understand his pointless fear of cats.

I rolled my eyes at him, I can't believe it, out of all the people in the world, I had to get this idiot for a brother. "I better return him to Mrs. Greenwald, she's probably worried." I was about to leave but, how could I possibly leave without first pretending to almost drop the cat, Mr. Whiskers, on Ashton's face.

After that important task, I took Mr. Whiskers to his rightful owner and went to school.

"That's not true! He's completely okay with me going to visit him every Monday and Wednesday!" Melody argued. As you've probably guessed already, she was talking about Nathan. Which, if you were wondering, is doing fine now. Luckily, he had all minor injuries and lucky for him, he had his own personal nurse looking after him, Melody.

"It's just that you seem desperate," said Judie between laughs, "guys don't like girls who are easy,....unless it's to do you know what and only that...but for a serious relationship they usually don't" Melody struck her a glare mixed with a bit of confusion.
