I drop the bucket of water and run towards the bush, diving straight through it. I re-appear in a clearing to find a very tired looking Harrison lying on his back.

Y: Shit, Harrison, are you alright? What the hell happened?

H: After they killed Theo and James, one of them knocked me out. When I awoke, I was tied to a chair, and I saw Tom lying on the floor. I'm sorry but, he's dead.

Y: No, he isn't. He found me.

H: What? Holy shit that's amazing, that son of a bitch.

Y: How did you get out here?

H: They dragged me out and shot me a few times in the chest.

Y: What? That's not... you'd be dead.

He opens his shirt to show a bullet proof vest and I let out a sigh of relief.

H: They then chucked me in this bush and left. I was out for ages, only woke up a few hours ago. My head is killing.

Y: It's okay, let's get you inside.

H: Wait, how did you get out?

Y: It's a long story. Come on, Tom needs to know you're alive, he's so worried.

H: About me? What a loser.

I giggle at his comment and help him up, he lets out a small groan, still achy from being attacked.

~~~
Y: Tom, I think you better come downstairs!
I hold onto Harrison, a hot-headed Tom storms out onto the landing to the top of the stairs and I smile when I see his face soften at the sight of his alive best friend.
T: Haz! You're fucking alive!
H: Couldn't leave you by yourself, now, could I?
Tom laughs, almost emotionally. He strolls down the stairs and pats Harrison on the back. I roll my eyes at his attempt of affection, he's not much of a hugger I know, but he could have at least hugged his best friend, who he has worried so much about.
T: It's so good to see you mate. I need your help.
H: Obviously you do.
He laughs a little, coughing as he holds his chest in pain.
Y: Okay, you need to rest and get warm. We can talk about everything tomorrow.
T: Yeah, she's right. You stink mate.
Harrison reaches into his pocket as if he's trying to find something, but instead, he pulls out his hand and flips the bird at Tom, making me burst out laughing. Tom rolls his eyes at the funny gesture and walks Harrison up the stairs.
I walk into the living room, remembering the bodies that are lying on the kitchen floor. I slump onto the sofa, feeling very drained. As I begin to close my eyes, I hear the living room door open. My eyes peel back open as Tom walks in and sits next to me.
T: I didn't mean to wake you.
Y: It's okay, I was just resting my eyes.
T: I want to apologize for losing my temper earlier. It's just...
Y: No need. I get it, Harrison Is probably the only family you have left, I get why you were so worried.
T: He is. I don't think I could find Marco without him.
Y: You could. I trust you.
T: Thank you for understanding.
I lie down and lay my head on his lap as he begins to stroke my head and I close my eyes at his soft touch.
