Third Person POV
"What the fuck do you mean that you can't locate him?! Don't you Pro Heroes have the location of the damn villains' hideout?!" Bakugo screamed at Aizawa while he and All Might sat before him, his scowl deepening across his face. He was beyond furious when they requested for him after a lockdown was put into place at UA and a strict curfew for the dormitory building, then proceeded to tell him that they couldn't find the damn nerd.
"Watch your tone with how you speak to your teachers, Bakugo," Aizawa snapped at the blond teen before moving on with a sigh. "Unfortunately, we don't. And if we did, we would've brought Midoriya back by now. We can't risk more people getting endangered because of recklessness, even if some of you are willing to take those risks for him. And if we look obvious, then the League will simply go further into hiding, so we can't make rash moves."
"Tch," Bakugo cast his gaze away from his teachers. They were right. The League had them right in their hands and they could do nothing about it, especially since Midoriya had gone willingly with them in order to protect them.
Damn idiot, if you had just stayed down, we could've fought our way out of that.
He mentally scolded about the greenette despite only his Alpha being the only one to hear him. Then, his Alpha spoke to him in a low tone in his head.
"There was no other option. You should know that. If he had tried your plan and failed, which was most likely going to happen because he's simply outnumbered, the League would've still taken him, but they probably would've hurt him in the process of restraining him. You know both you and I wouldn't want that."
Fuck. His Alpha was right as well. But that didn't change how angry he was for feeling so useless and so unable to do anything. It painfully reminded him of the time in Kamino where he was simply and utterly useless in his situation.
Bakugo shoved the memories back into the back of his mind and looked back up at the two teachers who seemed to have moved on to speaking about where the League could be hiding. He takes this as a sign to dismiss himself and he does just that. He exits the room and he's immediately expected to return to his dorm room per new restrictions. It was all to try and keep the students safe, under control, and accounted for.
Upon entering his room and hearing the door auto-lock, he tosses himself into his bed and stares up at the ceiling, memories beginning to swirl back into the front of his mind. Memories of nearly four days ago, Midoriya willingly gave himself up to the League Of Villains to protect all of them from death. Even while Bakugo is staring up at his blank ceiling, it was as if he could see the Omega's reassuring yet pleading smile appearing. It made his Alpha howl in agony at the remembrance of losing the other, and Bakugo couldn't really put his finger on why his Alpha did this.
—
The following days proved to be just as much of a waste as the previous ones : with the students still being unable to interact much except for a quick 30-minute window where they could interact with one another in the main lobby before they had to return to their rooms, then the Pro Heroes continuously coming up empty-handed, even some of the vigilantes couldn't bring up so much as a small bit of evidence or even an idea of where the gang of gremlins disappeared to.
Bakugo had to stop himself from going feral with anger, he was literally seething wherever he went because he knew that Midoriya wasn't going to be found anytime soon. And he wanted to be out there, looking for the nerd himself, looking for the Omega whom his Alpha seemed to be desperately howling out to. He thought that his Alpha was just upset that he had to be protected by someone as low as an Omega, so he ignored them.
