19. Parents

Akashi's POV:

I woke up to small, soft lips against my skin "I think it's time for you to wake up baby" my boyfriend said and pecked my lips to then stand up and get his and my clothes from the closet, I sat up and instantly wanted to lay back in the bed, it was so warm and it smelled like him, I'm guessing Tetsuya knew my intentions so he quickly walked to me and told me to get up, complaining, I did.

"I'll never understand how you can make something so simple look so good aren't you like, way out of my league?" My boyfriend said as I adjusted my tie "Oh sure, suuuure, it's not like you decline love declarations everyday" I finished adjusting my tie, Tetsuya was brushing his hair and he chuckled "You would too if people weren't scared of you" he put the comb down and I wrapped my arms around his
waist.

"I have a theory" I started, Tetsuya smiled raising his eyebrows "Mhmm, tell me about it" he said "We're just perfect for each other" I whispered against his ear, he blushed but he turned his head back and kissed me, which I turned into a make out session. After a while, an alarm went off, Tetsuya separated himself from me and went to his phone to turn it off "It's time to go" he said grabbing his wallet and walking away "wait wait waittt, fix your clothes and hair, you look like you just made out with your hot boyfriend" I smirked, he rolled his eyes smiling "Shut up" he fixed himself quickly and we got in my car, we still had 20 minutes until 10 so we weren't really in a hurry.

"Seijuuro! Tetsuya! What a pleasure to see you two again" exclaimed my father "Good evening Mr. Akashi" said my lover "Aww come on, we're basically family, just call me father!" He said cheekily, Tetsuya smiled and nodded "Mother, mom, dad, it's nice to see you all" I smiled, they stood up and hugged us, then we sat down, as far as I know, this is one of the Kurokos restaurants so mom got us a private room.

"So! Boys.." Mom started but stopped herself looking at her sons wrist "My, my, what's that? You never liked to buy flashy stuff for yourself baby" she grabbed his wrist admiring the bracelet "Sei gave it to me when he asked me to be his boyfriend, he has one as well" he said smiling tenderly, I pulled up my sleeve to show it to her, mother, father and dad also came closer to see them "As expected of you, always so extravagant, how much was it?" Father asked "I was wondering that as well" Tetsuya added "I'm afraid it's a secret, but I will say one thing, nothing it's too expensive for me when it comes to the one I love, he should be living in a castle surrounded by treasures" I said and kissed his cheek, he blushed deep red making me chuckle and he covered his face with his hands, I teased him a bit more until I noticed it was silent, I stopped laughing and I looked over to our parents, Tetsuya uncovered his face as well.

"Is something wrong?" I questioned, confused, they all had astonished expressions on their faces "I-it's just...you said the L word, you guys already said the L word?!?!" Mom freaked out "I've never seen you so happy" mother uttered, Tetsuya tilted his head cutely "L word? You mean love?" My boyfriend asked "Yes!" Mom said but our parental figures kept quiet, eyes wide "Ah, yes we already said it" I answered and looked at my boyfriend, who too looked at me and nodded Mom covered her mouth with her hands and Mother gasped, Dad choked on his drink and Father's jaw dropped.

After our parents got over their shock, they explained they've never seen either of us as happy as now, or how they could see how much we loved each other, that made me and Tetsuya smile widely, it's true, at least for me, I've never been so happy before, it was like something, someone was missing from my life, and I found him. We ordered food and soon enough it was here, we kept the conversation going as we ate and laughed together, we were a family.

"So you guys basically have the perfect relationship" dad said, amused "Not at all, we have to work in Sei's jealousy and how I'm oblivious to most things, but we don't have disagreements often, and when we do we solve them quickly" my boyfriend said and I nodded taking a sip of wine "Jealousy huh? Remember those days sweetie?" Father said to mother, she laughed and rolled her eyes "Tetsuya, if Seijuuro is as bad as this old man, good luck dear" she said, making us all chuckle "Well, who is this person hanging around Tetsuya so much, I mean, there has to be someone right?" Mom asked "No-" my lover was about to answer but I interrupted him "Yes! Glad you asked mom" I smiled "Ogiwara Shigehiro, we are going to have a talk about that guy one of these days, he likes you a bit too much" I said looking at my boyfriend "Well, the only one i like a bit too much is you, relax" he answered and I sighed "Our son is just too handsome! Isn't he honey?" Dad said and mom and I nodded.

"Bye bye! I hope we can do this more often" Mother said as her, father, mom and dad drove off in a limousine, they had to go on an emergency business trip last minute, Tetsuya and I waved to then start walking towards my car "How about a swim when we get back" Tetsuya suggested as I entered the car "The jacuzzi?" I asked driving off and he nodded closing his eyes, soon enough we arrived at my house, Tetsuya greeted the guards outside and went in, I did the same. Yes I've got guards, its been more than one occasion when people try to break in.

Tetsuya quickly started to take his clothes off and headed to the jacuzzi in my bathroom "You're not wearing a swim suit today?" I asked "Don't feel like it, and it's just you" he answered without even looking at me and started preparing the water, before I started undressing I went to get our robes, wine and some strawberries, by the time I got back it was filled with water, Tetsuya had his back facing me but turned around when I put wine and strawberries in a little table next to him, he smiled slightly and I started to take my clothes off.

"Like what you see?" I smirked at my boyfriend who was looking at me getting undressed "You know I do" he smirked back and then I joined him, enjoying the hot water make contact with my skin, Tetsuya came towards me and made me hug him from behind, I kissed his head and grabbed a strawberry, we stayed silent, comfortable silence, enjoying each other's presence, I grabbed his hand and touched his ring finger "I can't wait to put a ring here" I said softly "I can't wait for you to do so" Tetsuya said kissing my hand.

A sudden wave of insecurity came to me, I don't like to talk about it frequently as those are painful memories to Tetsuya, but as everyone says, communication is key "What would...what would you do if he comes back...?" I whispered, Tetsuya turned around and looked at me strangely "He doesn't mean anything to me now, we had our moments but it's all in the past, I love you and always will" Tetsuya said cupping my face with his hands, I avoided his gaze "Hey, my love, look at me, please, I don't like it when you feel this way" he said coming closer to me and I finally looked at him, no sign of dishonesty showing "Sorry I brought him up, I love you too" I said and kissed him "There's nothing to apologize for" he responded as he turned around and came closer to me, we stayed in the water for another hour talking about whatever until we started to get sleepy, we got out, put our pajamas on and called it a night.
