22. Planning

Akashi's POV:

I have the ring, I actually have it and this is happening, after six months I'm actually going to propose to Tetsuya. It is unreal, the love I have for him is unreal, how happy he makes me is unreal.

I stepped into the large building and made my way to my fathers office, confident about what I was going to announce. When I entered I saw that my mother was there as well, that's convenient.

"Oh, Seijuuro, what are you doing here?" Father asked, I don't often visit to be honest, just when I have to work. Without saying anything, I showed them a little velvet box and opened it, showing them the ring with a smile on my face.

"Sei..." my mother was speechless, my father got up from his chair and made his way to me, holding my shoulders "Son, I am blown away by this, and I'm delighted you found the love of your life, I know how in love you two are, congratulations Seijuuro" he said smiling and then hugged me.

Then my mother got up and congratulated me as well "My baby...you're so big now, look at you...I'm sure you and Tet-chan will be the happiest as long as you stay together, and that, that's all a mother could ever ask for" she said with tears eyes hugging me, and then she started admiring the ring, talking about how it suited Tetsuya perfectly, I smiled proudly. "So, when are you going to do it?" My father asked.

"Father, mother, I have no idea what I'm doing, I just know I want to marry Tetsuya" I said, mother shook her head "You are unbelievable young man, first of all, we need to get his parents blessing, let's go there now, I know you're itching to ask the question already" she said making me and father laugh.

My parents and I headed to the Kuroko Estate and gave them the news, which they received excitedly "Obviously you have our blessing! I can't wait for my Tetsuya to find this out" mom said, I smiled and we all continued talking for a while until I excused myself, I needed to think about what to do, when to do it, will it be private or with our friends? If it was the latter I'd have to fly Kagami over here.

Wait, I think Tetsuya once mentioned how he'd like travel soon, mmm...Maldives perhaps?, I could propose to him there.

I headed to Tetsuyas place but decided to stop for a milkshake, when I arrived home I decided to leave the ring in my car, as hidden as possible.

"Babe, I'm home" I announced and a moments later I saw Tetsuya coming downstairs already in pajamas, he looked really cute "Hello dear" he smiled at me while hugging me "I missed you" he said "I know beautiful, I missed you too, I needed to discuss some stuff with father, but I'm here now, and look what I got you" I said pulling back a bit so he'd see the milkshake, he thanked me with a glowing smile and started drinking it.

"Have you had dinner yet?" He asked me and I shook my head, we were both too tired so we decided to heat up some leftover pasta. It's funny how the old me would freak out at the thought of leftovers but well, here we are.

We were eating and talking about our days until I decided to ask him "Baby, remember how you said you wanted vacation?" I said and he nodded "Well, I was thinking we could go to the Maldives a week from now" I suggested and i saw his eyes glow, though he started pouting "but we have school..." he said "Love, you know very well we don't need to attend anymore, we're basically just waiting for our certification papers" I reminded him.

"I suppose you're right Sei, yeah, let's go there, I could really use it and besides" he looked at me excitedly "it's going to be our first trip together! You got me all excited now, let's start the reservations!" He said happily and my smile couldn't be wider, he got up and went to get a laptop to start the search of hotels.

He came back as quickly as he left and opened the laptop sitting next to me "So, I guess we could use one of our families private Jets right? I don't think they'll be against it...now we just have to find a nice place to stay!" He said happily, I couldn't do anything but nod, he was adorable.

After a while, he found a place he really liked, and I made sure to add comments from time to time so he wouldn't think I wasn't interested in this. About an hour later we did our usual nightly routine and went to bed...I also have to talk to him about the house that's being built. God, getting married really is a lot, but I'd go to the moon and back for him.

I woke up in the middle of the night due to some giggles, apparently, my Tetsuya was texting, he was texting in the middle of the night "What are you doing?" I suddenly asked and he seemed to be taken aback "Oh, nothing, go back to sleep Sei" he smiled at me.

I tried sleeping again but I just couldn't, and the fact that he kept laughing at whatever was not helping, fed up, I took his phone out of his hands "Seijuuro! It's just Kagami" he reproached me and I looked at the screen, it was indeed Kagami...and they were actually talking about me.

"Give it back, it's embarrassing" he said and I smiled tenderly at him "I think it's cute my love, but please, go to sleep, your precious face can't be molested with dark circles" I finished and he rolled his eyes smiling, nevertheless, he send Kagami a goodbye text and snuggled into my arms again, a content smile in my face.

I'm so going to marry him.
