6. Friends (Akashi)

Akashis POV:

I arrived at the restaurant just in time, i give my car keys to the valet guy and head inside, someone is already waiting for me and leads me to my table where Shintaro is waiting for me and Atsushi is not here yet.

"Hello" I say "Ah hey" Shintaro says, I sit down and a waiter asks us if we want something to drink, I ask for wine and Shintaro just water, an emergency at the hospital could happen and they can't afford having him intoxicated.

They bring the drinks to us just as the same time as Atsushi arrives "Hi" he says, he asks for a milkshake and sits down "So Akashi, what did you want to talk about?" Shintaro asks and takes a sip of water. "I'm getting married, soon, hopefully" I simply say and he chokes on his water but quickly fixes himself, Atsushi just looks at me.

"What?! I'm going to need you to elaborate on that" Shintaro says and Atsushi nods "You do know Kuroko Corporation right?" I look at Shintaro "I'm sure you know them very well, Atsushi" I look at him coldly, he's my best friend but just in case, he just frowns "Kuro-chin? You're getting married to Kuro-chin?" He asks "if by that you mean Tetsuya, yes, I'm talking about him" I respond "Hello? Who are you talking about?" Shintaro asks.

"Kuroko Tetsuya, the heir of Kuroko Corporation, my parents and his are friends and they want us to unite the companies and have much more power together, we're doing that by getting married" I answer "Is it a forced marriage?" Atsushi asks in a strangely serious tone "No, our parents told us we could get to know each other and if we see a future together then we get married, it's not forced, Tetsuya and I agreed" I say.

"Oh alright, you better not hurt him" Atsushi says, well shit? Why is everyone telling me not to hurt him? I'm not a demon for fucks sake "You dont have to tell me that" I say "Are you sure about this?" Shintaro asks "I am absolute, Shintaro, he's the most beautiful man I've ever seen and he has caught my interest if I'm being honest" I answer "Yea Kuro-chin is very pretty" Atsushi says as he starts drinking his milkshake "Be careful with your words, he is my future husband" I tell him, he just shrugs "I mean yes but we can't deny the obvious, he's pretty" he says, I was about to say something when the waiter comes to take our orders.

After that we start talking about other things, work, their relationships, and Tetsuya especially, we finish eating and say our goodbyes, I'm on my way to my car when I feel my phone vibrating, to my surprise, it's a goodnight text from Tetsuya, I smile softly and quickly wish him a good night too, I can't wait for Saturday.
