He walked upstairs slowly, he didn't understand. Why had she been so upset? When you kissed a girl who you knew liked you, they were supposed to be happy, not run off crying. He wish he could work them out. "Waste of time then?" whispered a soft voice. He spun round. It was Thomas. "That's one way of saying it. I can't believe it!" Andy muttered furiously. "What went wrong? You went to the wrong film?" Thomas teased. "No, the film was actually really good. No, it was Daisy, I kissed her, and she ran off crying." Thomas looked unexpectedly pleased. "Told you, you could do better. Daisy, pah. Find someone worth your time," he moved closer, "someone who won't let you down." "Mr Barrow, I don't think I quite understand you," he said nervously, though he clearly could, "anyway, I'm tired, so I'll see you tomorrow." Thomas looked disappointed. "Goodnight Andy."
