Later that day.

"Aye mate, how long is it gonna take for those peeps to arrive eh?" asked one of the guards of the borders as he was yawning.

"Probably soon enough, I guess? I can hear the trumpets, they are reaching." said another guard.

"Aye! Aye! Where the heck did that kid come from?" shouted a soldier from a distance as they saw a small kid running towards the forest.

"Oi! You there! This is no time in playing hide and seek here! The King and Queen are gon' be here in any minute now. Go back to the capital now!" The front row guard yelled at Gael as he was running as fast as he could.

Without even uttering a word or even listening to them, Gael ran straight towards the forest and didn't turn back. How much ever the guards tried to stop him, Gael resisted and ran.

"Let him go!" ordered the captain of those guards.

A guard commented on that and said, "But Sir! He is just a small child. He can be hunted by the wild animals in the forest here. We can't just-"

"Why do you want to waste your breath for a nitwit like that anyway eh? Let him be devoured by those ferocious animals! It's his mistake for coming all the way here. Our main focus is the arrival of the Sires! We must protect them at any cost if anything happens. Now be on guard!" commanded the captain.

The soldiers here in Narkissa only care about fame and wealth. The reason they joined the military forces was only that the military is paid the highest in the town of Narkissa.

Gael's main motive was to get the Orchid flowers no matter what and get them right before the King and Queen arrived.

"Finally! I thought I'd never make it in time here. And I thought those guards would catch me and I would never make it here at all!" said Gael happily.

Gael walked deep into the forest when he found those Orchid flowers.

"Good gracious! I got it!" said Gael joyfully as he started picking those flowers one by one.

Slowly from a distance, he heard a growl. Gael panicked and hurriedly took the flowers and started to run. But the moment he turned back, he saw a wild animal, a very big bear who looked like his meal had just arrived. How much ever fast Gael could run the wild animal would outrun him.

"Alright Gael! There is no time to panic now! Now it's a good time that I put my gadgets and Achilles to use!" Gael instructed himself as he took out some of his weapons he had and Achilles (The name Gael had provided for the drone he had developed) and started getting ready with his weapon.

The wild animal started to run straight to Gael.

"GO! ACHILLES!" shouted Gael as his drone started flying above the animal. The wild bear looked confused. But the bear was so fixated with Gael that it didn't even care to look at something that is above him and ran straight towards him.

Gael smiled and said, "Hmm nice try! Why don't you check THIS OUT! Ache attack! My latest gadget I have created! You will not be missed this time, funny bear!"

Gael then released a small locket type of gadget from Achilles and also pressed an activation mode through his remote controller. And as soon as the gadget dropped it released a cloud of smoke and dropped on that animal. The bear couldn't see anything as it created a fog between the trees. But as soon as the fog disappeared, the animal's skin started to pull out. It was more like a rash in its skin.

The bear bellowed as high as it could. Later the bear just didn't care about those rashes on its skin as its skin was hard as a rock and only little by little the skin started to pull out. And then the bear headed straight towards Gael. Unfortunately, Gael's last resort was his Ache attack. As he was in a hurry and thought that there won't be any wild animals at this time of the hour.

"No way! It is supposed to be hurting like getting fire on the skin! How is it still standing? I am done for!" panicked Gael and then started searching for the alarm gadget, "Where the heck is it? Where could it go now of all times? I had it all this time! Where could it-" Gael stopped talking and looked next to the Orchid plants where his alarm gadget given by the Doctor was. Before he could even say anything the bear appeared right in front of him. Gael was frightened and took his controller and tried to activate Achilles before the bear got to the alarm gadget as soon as possible. But the ferocious animal crushed the alarm gadget with his leg.

"It can't be... Is this how it ends? Do I get eaten by a wild bear? I-... I don't know what to do anymore... Doc I guess I can't be delivering the flowers after all." Gael started saying things as if they were his last moments, "No No NO! I won't let myself die just yet! NO WAY-"

Just when Gael got all stormed up and ready to run, he heard a gunshot. The wild bear suddenly disappeared.

"What the heck? It was r-right here! Where the heck-"

"Excuse me, kid? Are you okay? I heard you screaming." Elijah lent him a hand and asked, "What the heck are you doing over here? I thought this was a restricted place for the people over here."

"I- I am okay Sir. Thank you very much for helping! I am so grateful to you!" thanked Gael.

"Haha, my pleasure!" cackled Elijah as he put his hand in the back and started brushing his hair as if it were a compliment.

Gael looked so curious and started thinking in his head, "What in the world was that? And the bear. A moment ago it was right in front of me. And now it's gone? And this guy. He came out of nowhere. I am sure I could have heard him from a distance just now. But right after that he-"

Suddenly Gael noticed that the bear was in Elijah's hand. He held it like it was a cloth or a bag.

"W-WHAT THE HELL?" Gael screamed.

"Ayo kid chill what happened?" asked Elijah

"What happened? What the heck is a big wild bear doing in your hands?"

"Oh, the bear? Oh, sorry kid, but do you mind giving me this? I am so hungry right now and my friends wouldn't let me have food from the capital. So I planned to just hunt down some animals and cook for myself! Those guys don't even care about starvation..." sighed Elijah and continued to drag that bear towards the outside of the forest.

"W-WHAT?? You mean you're going to EAT IT??"Gael grimaced.

"Oh- yeah? What's wrong with that? Oh, hold on. Do you want some? I mean I can't give you the whole thing but I'll give you a bite. If that's okay?" smirked Elijah.

"No! Ew what no! I will never eat that! And on top of this I am a vegan of all things!" scowled Gael.

"Alright! Alright! I get it!" Elijah said as he tried to chill down Gael, "Well, in any case, I gotta go before the King and Queen arrive here. So it was nice meeting you kid! Bye now!" said Elijah as he waved him goodbye.

"No, wait! Sir, I haven't thanked you properly yet." Gael resounded.

"Oh, no kid it's fine! I am a bit in a hurry now! I'll see ya later!" said Elijah as he started to run again.

Gael waved at him back and started thinking to himself, "Whatever that was, I knew what I saw. That man. Something is up. I don't understand though but-" Gael looked at his watch and suddenly started running back and said, "I am so late! They're almost here! I have to give these flowers to Doc as soon as possible!"

Gael ran as fast as he could to get out of the forest.
