"Ah, I am hungry! Can we just go into the capital and buy some food already?" Elijah whined.

"Shut up, you jerk! Do you want to get caught by the soldiers there? They don't even know about us and our objective here! There are certain rules here for outsiders. And even with the rules, they barely even let them in. Now stop whining and be on the lookout already!" Catie lectured Elijah.

"Ah yes, the objective! Uh- what was it again?" Elijah laughed in guilt and asked as he scratched his hair.

Catie facepalmed and said, "Ugh of course you'd forget! We are supposed to be guarding the King and Queen of Eveleynia. They can be attacked anytime by Reuter's army. We should also be careful in situations like-"

"Whoa whoa hold up wait!" interrupted Elijah, "What are we, their bodyguards? And if we are guarding them, shouldn't we be treated as guests? Provide us with some food? They can't even allow us to enter the capital? Yo, what the heck?"

"Didn't you listen to me dammit? It is a must that they don't! Or else Reuter's army would know that there are enemies of Reuter and the whole town would be in trouble! Even though they have no clue about us, they will get to know we're enemies once we reveal our abilities. And that's why we're not stepping into the capital!" Catie yelled.

"I do wonder why Reuter is going for the King and Queen of all people. They are just random humans, who have no such abilities as us or him. I thought he'd go for only people who had powers like him." Andel spoke in a doubt.

"That is true. I don't get why in the name of God he wants to attack innocent people, of all things!" said Catie in despair.

"It's not him..." said a distant voice from far. "It's Reuter's army. It is said that The Kingdom of Eveleynia has a massive amount of treasure which they keep somewhere hidden in the palace. Among them is a very unique stone called Trixannia. In fact, according to some rumors in the village, this stone is available only here, in Narkissa, and no one other than the villagers know about this stone. It's kept in extreme secrecy. And someone from Reuter's army had a deal with Reuter that he would work for Reuter only if he gets treasures and historical stuff, things that are costly and more valuable. And of course, Reuter loves anything containing war and violence..." said Khalia, walking down from the forest to their lookout spot.

"So he is just putting up a war between nations here? Only for a damn stone? Is that how low he's gotten?" said Catie in disgust.

"Huh? And the fact that the people won't even realize that it was Reuter's army. Wait they don't even know he exists, right? Haha! Wow! A damn coward he is. Pulling up a fight among nations of all things." said Elijah utterly disappointed.

"That stone, if I recall, is one of the rarest stones in the world. People will start hating the other nation just because of greed. And fights, war... would keep continuing here." said Orwan, clenching his fist.

"And that is exactly why we're here. We will stop the war if it happens today. No matter what, we won't let innocent people die for a stupid cause like this. For the people out there, it would look like the Kingdom of Eveleynia is attacking. Eunara 4.0 upset." commented Eunara as he sighed. "But before that happens, we make a move according to our plan. Is that understood?"

All five of them started to get their weapons ready for battle.

"Haha let's show 'em who's the boss!" Elijah laughed while loading bullets in his rifle.

"Uh.. guys we still have time ya know?" doubted Perria.

"Oh yes, yeah we still have time. You can all just chill now," said Khalia.

All of them then sat down at their lookout spot relaxing.

"Hey, then Khalia! How'd you know that they were about to come here? And how'd you know they are a part of Reuter's army?" questioned Orwan.

"Well, apparently, there is this famous scholar... I quite can't get his name in my head... But yeah, he started to work his abilities out of nowhere. Then I did some research and found out that he is indeed part of Reuter's army. And once he joined him, he started to put his ability to more and more use. He also started killing people for his whatsoever cause. And his name, I seriously can't put my finger at. But I know he's famous for some historical stuff.."

"Historical stuff huh? Well, we'll see it when the time comes," replied Orwan.
